One day..after a brief conversation with Kokushibou, Akaza found himself lingering in the hallways of the Infinity Castle.. unaware that Douma’s watchful eyes had been following him for much longer than he realized. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into something more..a tension neither of them had ever anticipated, one that would forever change the way they saw each other.
The infinity castle was quiet. The only sound was the soft echo of Akaza’s footsteps as he made his way down a long corridor.. his mind still lingering on the conversation he’d just had with Kokushibou.
What he didn't know was that Douma had been watching the entire exchange from a distance. He had been quietly observing Akaza and his eyes following every movement, every flicker of emotion that crossed his face.
“Such a good little demon.. aren’t you, Akaza-dono..” Douma mused aloud, though he was talking to himself more than to anyone else. He couldn’t help but be drawn to Akaza’s intense aura.. the way he carried himself with quiet authority. It was magnetic and it only made Douma’s twisted, curiosity flare up.
As Akaza continued down the hall, Douma’s smile returned.. this time with a gleam of something darker in his eyes. He pushed himself off the wall where he’d been leaning and silently followed Akaza.
“Hey, Akaza-dono..” Douma called. Akaza stopped in his tracks, his posture stiffening. He turned slowly and his cold eyes locking with Douma’s. "What do you want, Douma?"
Douma smiled wider..the kind of smile that never reached his eyes. "Just thought I'd see what you were up to, that's all. You seem... so intense when you’re talking with Kokushibou-dono. What was that about?" His tone was teasing..though there was something more beneath it...something possessive.
Akaza narrowed his eyes. The edge of annoyance in his voice didn’t quite mask his discomfort. "None of your business."
Douma’s grin as he took a few slow steps closer to Akaza. "Oh, come on. I’m just curious. You’re always so serious. It’s hard not to wonder what’s going on inside that head of yours." He was standing far too close now, his presence almost suffocating in its intensity.
Akaza clenched his fists.. a flash of irritation crossing his face. "If you’re just here to provoke me, Douma.. then you can leave."
Douma tilted his head, his eyes glinting with a mix of amusement and something darker. "I’m not here to provoke you. I just... want to be close to you."
The words hung in the air and for a moment, Akaza was frozen. His breath caught in his throat. He had heard Douma say many strange things before and this was different now. The weight of the moment pressed down on him as his heart rate quickened.
"Don’t get too close" Akaza muttered, his voice colder now. "Don't try to interfere.."
Douma stepped even closer as his breath warm against Akaza’s skin as he reached out.. brushing a strand of hair away from Akaza’s face. The touch was light. "Interfering?" Douma echoed softly, his eyes never leaving Akaza’s. "I’m not here to interfere, Akaza-dono.. I just want to...understand you."
Akaza stiffened.. a shudder running through him at the unexpected touch. He couldn’t deny the way Douma’s proximity affected him. His mind raced..trying to push away the sensations that Douma was stirring within him.
Douma’s hand lingered on Akaza’s cheek for a moment longer.. then slid down to his jaw, gently tilting his face upward. "You’re always so serious, Akaza-dono.." Douma murmured, his voice low and almost seductive. "I wonder how you’d look if you let go... just a little."
Akaza’s heart pounded and he was barely aware of the words that left his mouth. "You’re treading on dangerous ground."
Douma chuckled..the sound like a soft, dangerous melody. "I know." He leaned in, his lips brushing against Akaza’s ear that sending a jolt of heat through the upper three demon body. "I think you like it."
Akaza unable to hold back any longer, grabbed Douma by the collar and his temper flaring as he pulled the demon closer. His lips crashed against Douma’s in a fierce kiss, the heat between them undeniable. Douma didn’t resist.. his hands finding Akaza’s back, pulling him closer as the kiss deepened. Akaza’s mind spun and there was no turning back now.
When they finally broke apart, both were panting..their breaths ragged. Akaza’s face was flushed, his heart racing. There was no hint of anger in his eyes..only confusion.
Douma smiled, his expression satisfied. "See? You can be fun when you let yourself relax a little."
Akaza stared at him for a moment then glared. "What are you doing to me, Douma?"
Douma’s smile softened though the mischievous glint in his eyes never faded. "I’m just having fun. Maybe you should try it sometime."
Akaza let out a frustrated sigh.. feels angry like he want to kill that upper two demon so bad. "Leave me alone, you moron.." Akaza muttered and turning to walk away.
Douma watched him go, a satisfied smile lingering on his lips. "You'll need me sooner anyway... My Akaza.." With that, Douma disappeared into the shadows.. knowing that this was only the beginning between them.
