It had been about a month since the whole Daniel thing happened & everyone, excluding me, had pretty much forgot about it. I just couldn't stop thinking about what had happened. I mean, how could you? 

But nevermind that because today was the day Josh & I were finding out the gender of the baby. Even though I had just reached the four month mark, my doctor said that we could try to find out. 

I didn't say much on the car ride there. I just sat there & listened to Josh tell me how excited he was to not only find out whether our baby was going to be a boy or girl, but also how ready he was to become a dad. 

"I honestly don't care what it is." he said. "I mean, a boy would be cool for obvious reasons, but imagine us having a little girl." 

"Sounds like to me you're hoping for a little mini me." I joked. 

Josh chuckled. "Maybe so. But I just want him/her to be healthy." 

"I know." I smiled. "I was only joking."

"So," Dr. Grey said as she moved the scanner (??) around my belly. "how has everything been?" 

"Good, actually." I told her. 

"You've been taken your vitamins? Getting plenty of rest?" 

"Yes. This one's made sure of that." I laughed, referring to Josh. 

Dr. Grey smiled warmly. "That's what I like to hear." 

It was silent for a few minutes while Dr. Grey tried to find the baby. All of a sudden, there was a loud thumping noise. 

"There's her heartbeat." she said. 

Josh & I looked at each other. 

"Her?" he asked shocked. 

"Yes." Dr. Grey replied, smiling once again. "Congratulations. You two are going to yourselves a little girl." 

"Oh, my gosh!" I squealed with excitement. 

"I'll give you a few minutes to get cleaned up & I'll come back in with some pictures." Dr. Grey told us before leaving the room. 

Josh helped me sit up & handed me a cloth. 

"Can you believe it?" he asked me. 

"Honestly, no. I really thought we were having a boy. I mean, I had all the symptoms." 

"Maybe that's a sign she'll be a daddy's girl." Josh joked, kissing my head. 

"You wish." I teased back.

We had the perfect way to tell the boys & it didn't even require them to all be at the house. Josh & I being the internet addicts we are, we decided to announce it on Twitter. We informed the boys that we would both post something on our accounts at 6:00 sharp. Not even Simon, Vik, or JJ would find out before hand. So, when 6:00 hit, Josh & I hit tweet. 

ChelseaSkyeBeauty : Josh & I found out the gender of Baby Zerker today. Here's what everyone has been waiting for! 

It was only a matter of seconds before the house was filled with "Holy shit!" & "No fucking way!" 

"Sounds like they're happy." Josh laughed. 

"Yeah, it does. But I don't think anyone is happier more than us." I said, pulling him in for a kiss.
