Taylor p.o.v.

"Aaron what are you doing," I ask. Aaron is right now destroying our cable box as the rest of the guys are cleaning the dishes. Aaron mumbles something, but I can't hear him. I'm about to ask again Hayes says, "you can't talk to him right now. When he gets like this nothing he blocks out the whole world. The best you can do is get a few words out."

"Has this happened before?"

"Yeah, but I find it really cute and usually I get cool stuff out of it. Last week he updated my phone to get android lollipop 5.0."

"What so impressive about that?"

"Its an iPhone 5," he tells me.

"Oh. Is it ever hard having a super smart boyfriend?"

"He's really not that smarter than me. My mutation helps actually."

"How?" Hayes mutation was what we call the recall mutation. You can show him one move and he can copy it exactly like you. That's how he's a black belt karate and a master in like every type of fighting style.

"My mutation is copying which also involves speaking and reading. I can read or hear something and I can remember it forever. So I can kind of understand what he's talking about. Not completely though because there is a difference between remembering everything and understanding it."

"Okay," I say nodding my head. We return to the guys who seemed to be talking intensely about something.

"I haven't heard from him in weeks," Nash says.

"Yeah but he usually is somebody else, so you might have seen him," Jack says back.

"Yeah but 2 weeks without being in his normal form is a little weird," Carter adds.

"Maybe he's on a mission for Professor Reyes," Jack says.

"No his clothes and stuff are still here," Jacob tells them.

"Who are you talking about," Hayes asks which made everybody look at us.

"Chris Collins," Carter says.

"What about him," I ask.

"Nobody has seen him in 2 weeks," Nash answers.

"Wait isn't he a shifter? Maybe he's been shifted as somebody else," Hayes suggest.

"Yeah, but for 2 weeks."

We stop talking when we hear Shawn's door open. We hear footsteps till Mahogany, Cameron and JJ steps out. "I'm going home right now see you later," Mahogany says.

"Wait babe I thought we were going to talk about us after this," Jacob says.

Mahogany bites her lip seeming to be thinking about something. "Um...maybe another time. Nancy called and she said she needed help with the Shaylor's comic next week," she says playing with her hair and not looking at us.

"Okay, call me," Jacob said looking disappointed. Mahogany nods, says goodbye and leaves.

"Shawn gave me his car keys, so I'm going to drop off JJ," Cam tells Nash.

"We can both drop him off together babe I'm almost done," Nash tells him.

"I thought I was dropping you off Jay," Jack says.

"No I'm sleeping over at his tonight. We have to work on the chemistry project due on Monday, so I'm just going to drop him off." They quickly leave before Jack or Nash can argue. They both look sad after they leave.
