Chapter 17

Stiles told me that tomorrow morning to meet him and Malia at Scott's house and to pack for the lovely trip down to Mexico.

Liam and I walked to his house after I got off the phone and it was nice. For twenty-five minutes I forgot about all my worries and everything I stressed about. I was a normal teenager for a little bit.

"I can only stay for one game Liam." I said as he dragged me to his room.
He shut the door behind him with a devious smirk. "Who said we were playing a game." Before I could reach his lips were on mine. He was in a rush picking me up and lying me on his bed.
I pushed him off of me and fixed my top,

"So I'm ready to kick your ass at one of these games." I announced. "Can't we do something else?" Liam sighed moving my hair off my shoulder and was leaning towards my neck when I jumped off his bed and to the TV.
I started Mario Cart and handed him a controller.

We played for an hour and he would try and make a move every now and then. I couldn't show him I was effected by his touch or anything. Teasing him was fun but stressful. After the game I looked at the clock and if was one in the morning.
"Dude I have to get home before Parrish freaks out." I said jumping off Liam's bed and grabbed my jacket on the chair.
"Can't you stay the night?" Liam whined. "No." I said.

I was halfway out the window when Liam told me to wait. He came up to me and gave me a short goodbye kiss.

"Bye Dunbar." I giggled.

I walked into the apartment quietly and I didn't hear Parrish in his room so I was alone surprisingly.

I first packed a change of clothes in a bag, a gun and a switch blade. I changed into my pajamas and fell asleep.

I walk up to Scott's room finding Malia taking a pillow out of the pillow case and Stiles walking up to me.
"Hey meet us downstairs after you find something with Scott's scent." He said.

I looked around Scott's room and sniffed the other pillow and it had a scent but wasn't strong. I walked into his bathroom and looked through his dirty laundry and found his lacrosse Jersey with a strong scent.

I walked downstairs hearing Stiles arguing with someone.

"And I don't feel like driving all the way down to Mexico just to have you rip my throat out." Stiles said and when I entered the room I saw Liam standing in front of Stiles and Malia.

"You can lock me up, right? Chain me down to the back seat or something?"

You tore through the last chains, remember? Yeah, we would have to freeze you in carbonite to get you down there."

"Okay, then where do we get carbonite?" Liam asked. I couldn't help but giggle at his question.

"Good thing your cute." I said giving him a kiss on the check.

"Instead of arguing lets go, I'm an alpha I think I can handle him." I said taking Liam's hand.

"You've been an alpha for what five full days? Get over yourself." Stiles said making me growl a little.

"I'm about to turn fifteen, fifteen years of learning how to be in control, and how to help control others. I've been through almost 180 full moon and I've had control for the majority of them, maybe not as an alpha but as a werewolf." I turned my eyes red and took my fangs outs. "Don't test me Stilinski." I growled and walked outside with Dragging Liam behind me.

We drove to a storage building where we met Braedan,Peter and Derek with a prison van they stole.

"Are we really bringing him?" Derek asked pointing at Liam whose arm was wrapped around my waist.

"Are we really bringing him?" Stiles asked looking at Peter who has guess they still don't 100% trust.

"We're bringing everyone that we can.
And considering Scott and Kira were taken the night before a full moon, we should probably get going."

"What's that mean? If Kate took Scott back to the same temple that she took Derek, how do we know she's not planning to do the same thing to him? "
"What, she wants to make him younger?"

"Or take him back to when he wasn't a werewolf." I said.

"A werewolf can't steal a true Alpha's power.
But maybe a Nagual jaguar, with the power of Tezcatlipoca behind her Maybe she can." Peter said and everyone went quiet for a few seconds.

"So, if everyone is sufficiently freaked out, I say we get going." I said breaking the silence.
"We can't.
Not without Lydia." Stiles said.

We waited for about ten minutes while Stiles tried getting Lydia on the phone.

"What's she doing at the school anyway?" Derek asked.

"We got Kira's sword, but we need something with a stronger scent." Malia said showing the sword.

"Lydia went to get a jacket out of her locker. " I said.

Stiles walked over with his phone in his hand and disappointment written on his face.

"Nothing."

"If she has a car, she can catch up to us." I said trying to get us on the rode.

"That's a good point." Braeden agreed with me.
"We'll call her from the road."
"No.
What if something happened? What if she's in trouble?" Stiles asked.

"Fine.
You stay, you find her.
We're gonna go on without you." Peter said very annoyed.
" I could call Mason.
He has a study group at school.
Maybe he could look for her." Liam said.
Stiles sighed at first but he agreed.
"All right".

I led Liam over to the prison van when Peters voice stopped us.
"Remember what we're dealing with.
It's not just Kate, it's Berserkers.
You might see human eyes behind those skulls.
Do not assume that there's any humanity left." Peter said and I could hear Liam's heartbeat rise, it was so loud I wouldn't be surprised if Stiles could hear.

"Oh." Peter said looking Liam's way.
"This little one is terrified of them, aren't you?" He got silence as a response.

"Don't worry, my friend.
It is that fear that will keep you alive."
Peter said and as we started getting in the van I heard one last thing from Peter.
"A reminder to everyone.
You do not fight Berserkers to survive, you fight to kill."
