Part 2 chapter 9

Life sucks. I'm starting there. One of my best friends  and ex start going out and I have to see them all lovey Dovey at school, well when I actually show up. Yes I've ditched almost the whole week of school. I have been trying to keep  distance from the pack. I couldn't deal with all that has been going on.  I decided to work a couple extra shifts at the Sinema and happily I barely see Hayden.  I have collected enough cash to pay for James' next two years of school. I've put a little away for me since in a few years I'm suppose to go off to college, but I was thinking maybe I'd join the army or something like that.
I was getting ready for the club to open when I heard noises in the back room. I walked  in to see Liam and Hayden running away  from the doctors. "What the hell!" I yelled and the creepy Doctor turned to me. I then jumped when I heard a loud roar from the opposite side of the room, it was Scott. He jumped to the doctor and tried harming it but it wasn't going down. I grabbed Hayden and pulled her into the next room but was stopped by one of the doctors. I tried knocking it down, but the only thing I was doing was tiring myself out. It then threw me across the room and I crashed onto the floor. When I got back up Hayden was then injected with something by the doctor. Before I could run to her Liam beat me to it. Instead I ran after the doctor.
    I ran outside but couldn't find it. I tried running the best I could considering I was in heals but didn't get far. I went back inside the club and saw Theo, Scott, and Liam making there way outside to and... Hayden? She seems to be okay from what I see. "Hey Scott, what's the plan?" I asked him. "We are heading to the animal clinic to protect Hayden. You can ride with me." He said as he sat on his bike. "Scott I need to work." I said awkwardly. "Fine, I'll text you later." He said.
I walked inside and some bartenders were already here.

I was walking through the crowd selling drinks when I caught a familiar scent. I looked behind me and saw it was Brett. "Hey Stranger." He said with a smile as he took a drink from my tray. "Pay up stranger." I said with my hand out. he groaned and gave me a ten. "So how's your boyfriend?" He asked and my heart dropped. "Oh we um broke up." I said and he was taken back a bit. "That's a shocker, what happened?" He asked. "I realized how much of a pain he is." I said and he laughed. "Glad someone else sees it." he said making us both laugh.  When we stopped he studied me for a second, "You remind me so much of your cousin,  I've missed him so much." he said in sad tone.  "Is your shift almost over?" Brett asked. I checked my phone and there was five minutes left till the club closes. "Yeah I should be out of here in about fifteen minutes." I said as two girls came up to be and gave me forty bucks for drinks.
"I can drive you home if you like,"  he offered. "I would love that, walking in these shoes really hurt a girl, even if she can heal instantly." I joked. 
I walked around the club selling the rest of the drinks on the tray. It didn't take long for people to leave once the music was off and the bar closed, but sadly people don't clean up after themselves. After picking up all the glasses I walked outside where Brett was waiting leaning against his car. "Ready?" He asked. I nod yes and walked towards his car.
As it started raining as we drove I took off my shoes and started rubbing my foot a little. "Do those shoes really hurt?" Brett asked as he looked over to me rubbing my foot. "They kill, it's as bad as wolfsbane ." I said jokingly. When we got to my building I thanked him and walked upstairs. My phone suddenly started blowing up with text from Stiles saying Scott told him he knew about Donavan. I called him as I walked into the bathroom. He didn't answer, great. "Stiles its Alex, call me back please. I'll talk to Scott." I hung up.
After taking my makeup off and changing I walked into my room and James was fast asleep in his bed. I kissed his forehead and once I hit the pillow I was out.

    The next day Lydia asked me to go to the library with her to help figure out what Parrish is. The only thing is since Parrish locked himself in the holding cell at the police station I have to bring James along. "So he is the one taking the bodies to some big tree stump?" I asked after she explained everything to me. "Exactly, now we need to figure out what he is." She said as she opened the door to the library. I started looking for books upstairs and Lydia searched on the main floor. "Alex, I think I got something." She yelled. I walked downstairs to see her reading some big book. "Listen, 'A myth of devilish riders in the sky accompanied by black dogs, spectral beasts whose eyes glowed with fire, A Bearer of Death and Guardian of the Supernatural, the black dog is also known by its more common name The Hellhound.' I think Parrish is a hellhound." She said. Suddenly a whole case of books fell. I looked over and James had guilt written all over his face. "Okay I think we should go, James is already feeling the super moon." I said to Lydia.
As James and I walked home I could tell he was having a tough time containing himself so I got an idea. I called the sheriff station and got Stilinski on the phone and agreed letting James stay in the holding cell for tonight. We picked up a few things for James' stay at the station, toothbrush,pajamas, pillow. Parrish will be there to help him through the super moon if I'm not there.
When we got to the station it was so busy no one noticed us go to the back. Parrish was lying down and sat up as we walked in. "Hey how are you?" I asked him and he laughed at my stupid question. "Better now since I got James for company. the keys are on the sheriff's desk for you." He said. I went and grabbed them and when I got back I crouched down to James. "Okay so, this is only to protect you and people for the super moon, but just stay calm and you'll be fine." I kissed his forehead and he walked in to the cell. I locked it walked out of the station before I would bail on this plan.
    Before I walked out I smelt a familiar scent from the sheriff's offices. I walked in and there was Stiles, "Hey why are you here?" I asked him and he was surprised by me being here. "I could ask you the same." He said. "I'm here because James is staying with Parrish in the cell for tonight, the super moon." I said and I was really sweating. "Does your Dad ever turn the AC on?" I asked and then an alarm went off. We ran out of the office and Parrish was walking out, looking possessed. When the officers pulled their guns out I step in front. "Don't shoot, just let him go." I said and Parrish never stop or looked at me, just look forward and out the door. I turned to Stiles and I could tell he was going to follow and I wasn't letting him go only.

We followed him and he lead up to a van, I couldn't see what was in it but I smelt the Mercury, dead chimera. I turned to Stiles and saw he was on the phone, "Who they hell are you calling?" I asked. "Theo, we need to follow that van and you have the scent." He said as he hung up the phone. We had to wait a while for Theo, I didn't even realize I fell asleep until I heard auguring.

"I never lied about why I came to Beacon Hills." I hear Theo say in a dark tone.
"I'm here for a pack.
I came for the werecoyote." Malia.
"The one whose first instinct is to kill.
I came for the Banshee, the girl surrounded by death."Lydia
"I came for the dark Kitsune, the Beta with anger issues I came for Void Stiles." Kira, Liam and Stiles, was Stiles right about Theo?
" I came for the lost alpha, That's the pack I want.
Unfortunately, it doesn't include Scott." Theo said and I couldn't help but kick Theo to the ground.
"Your heart beat is rising, and not from fear.
Nogitsune is gone, but you've still got more blood on your hands than any of us, even Alex." He said to Stiles. Before I could throw a punch at that asshole Stiles beat me to it.
"I'm about to get more." Stiles said. But before he could hit Theo again he said something interesting. "I'll tell you where your dad is, if you promise not to help Scott." Stiles was about to hit him again but I stopped him. "We don't need him I can find your dad." I said trying to be calm.
"But not in time to save James." And I turned to Theo and couldn't help but wolf out thanks to the super moon. I kicked him to the ground and scratched his face. " I could get use to this position." He smirked with blood all over his face. I looked and noticed I was straddling him but at this point I could care less. "Where is James?"

I was running through the woods as fast as I could, Stiles wasn't far behind. I couldn't wait for him though, if James and his dad are dying they need help asap. The only thing is I had to swear my loyalty to Theo instead of Scott in exchange for the location where James and Stilinski were. I was told James was cut my wolfsbane and hour ago so if he doesn't get help in the next few hours he, won't be well.
I find them where Hayden and Liam were found, I smelt blood. I saw sheriff on the ground but James was sitting with him, perfectly fine. "Alex, Theo told me to wait for you." He said as I ran to the ground next to the sheriff. "What are you talking about? Are you okay? Did Theo hurt you?" I panicked. "No but I was suppose to watch the sheriff while Theo went to find you." He said with his head full of lies. I dialed 911 for an ambulance as I took away some pain.
Stiles soon came and the look of horror on his face when he saw his dad. "An ambulance is on their way, I did the best I could." I said with my hands full of blood. I thought about what I did to find James and the sheriff, than it hit me,

I sold my soul to the devil.
