A/N: IMPORTANT MESSAGE AT THE END OF THIS CHAPTER!!!

* * *

This was it. The day of the camp dance. Well, technically 12 hours before the dance.

Last night after Blake said that strange sentence to me, I'd thought about it until the movie was over and we had to leave. I didn't even watch the rest of the movie! Stupid beautiful view. Stupid Blake. Stupid feelings.

What he said had clicked in my head the minute Carly texted me that it was time to leave.

I'd taken a deep breath and descended the Tower's stairs once I knew what I was getting into.

The next morning though, everything seemed to have temporarily been forgotten because of all the chaos we were all causing.

"Can someone please zip up my dress?!"

"Dammit. This stupid nail polish keeps smearing!"

"Quit shoving, asshole!"

It was like prom all over again.

"You guys, just calm down and--"

"Shut up, Lei! Move!"

Sheesh. Even Lauren was acting bitchy. I quietly walked away towards my own area and completely away from the bathroom. I did not want to be bombarded by a bunch of hairless clown savages. Ha. That thought seemed to be from so long ago.

I adjusted my dress and sauntered towards the full length mirror. I looked stunning.

"Wow..." I breathed as I took in the gold dress. The sparkly strapless gown flowed in shape of my body down to the polished wood floor. Every area of the dress fit in the right places, making my figure look hot.

After one last long moment of the dress, I carefully stripped of its beauty, worried that any tug or stretch would rip away it's gorgeousness.

I hung my gown back up and dressed back into my jeans and striped pink and white top. Everyone else was slowly doing the same, deciding it was best to get ready closer to the dance.

The reason we were so hyped up about it was because Paris treated this as though it were a red carpet event. I knew there was going to be all kinds of pictures taken like no other, and I wanted to look and feel as presentable as possible.

"Ohmigosh!" Sophie screamed in agony, "my nail broke!"

All the girls, except Carly, freaked out and tried to fix the acrylic turquoise nail.

Carly and I were the ones to get back I. Our regular clothes the fastest, and roll our eyes at the chaotic scene before us.

"All this bullshit for a party?" Carly scoffed.

I shrugged and replied, "Aren't you gonna look all dolled up too?"

"Well yeah, but not act all crazy about one night!" She retorted, crossing her arms.

"Who knows? One night can change a lot."

"Psh. Speak for yourself. It's easier said than done."

I chuckled at the thought of Carly sabotaging our night, and cringing at the sight of my dress being ruined.

As if reading my mind, Carly smirked. "Don't worry, Cinderella. If you lose a shoe, it won't be because of me and my tricks."

Immediately catching on to her analogy, I lightly punched her in the arm and laughed.

A knock on the door interrupted our bickering. Carly smirked again. "Go answer it! Could be your Prince Charming!"
