Over Thought

Bruno and I rushed to the limosouine, and headed home. I looked down to my hand. A ring, another one that lays there. I was not ready for this, and I thought Bruno would have waited a little longer for this.

"How long have you been planning this?" I asked Bruno as I continued to gaze at my ring. "The day of your divorce." "Did it ever occur to you, that I was still recovering from that?" I asked. "No. You have my children., why not marry you?" Bruno answered. "We can call off the engagement." Bruno said sadly. "No." I said. "I love you too much to make a choice like that." I said.

"I'm sorry, but I've been waiting for this for a long time. I thought the timing was right. I feel like a total idiot." Bruno said. He ran his hands through his hair with frustration and guilt. "Bruno. Babe."I rubbed his thigh. "I don't want you to feel that way. I love you so much, and I will do anything to be with you. This is an honor to be Mrs. Peter Hernandez."

The limousine pulled up to the front of the house, and Bruno and I exited the vehicle. We walked up to the front door, and went inside. I immediately kicked off my heels, and I was so relieved to move my foot freely.

We both walked to our room and we changed into something more comfortable. I laid in my bed, and Bruno later came and joined me. Bruno wrapped his arm around my stomach, and he rested his head on my sore chest.

"I'm so happy the kids are with Jaime (Bruno's sister). She really is a big help!" Bruno said. "Yeah." I responded. "Bruno?" I asked. "Do you really think you're ready for this?" I asked. "What do you mean babe?" Bruno then sat upward and faced me. "Do you really think you're ready for marriage? Settling down? Look at you! You're selling records, and making a lot of money, and touring. "Why would you do less and less of it? Less time to see fans around the country, the world? They've been there since the beginning." I said.

"I made the decision to have a baby with you. I made the decision to marry you. I made the decision to spend the rest of my career and life with you and my kids. Life isn't about pleasing people. There is so much more than that." Bruno responded. "But you did this to be heard, to be known." I said. "But without this, without me making music, I don't think we would have ever met, and me meeting a girl like you, has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm so blessed to have you. Remember that." Bruno concluded. "I guess you're right." I said. "I am right, and what I tell you is from my heart. Let's just go sleep, and enjoy our moments as we go. Sleep well my bride to be." Bruno kissed me. "Goodnight my love." I smiled at him. I flipped the switch, and the room went black.
