Nick Fury's POV
The thing I hate the most is when you have something and you lose it.
The sad thing is that's happened more than I want to admit. Especially with one person: Perseus Jackson.
That's got to be a alias. Who names their child Perseus?
There is nothing on this kid. Absolutely nothing! All we have is his name, his mother's name, the knowledge that his father was a one-night-stand, his age, and a little of what he's done. There's not much I could do but attempt to find him. His mother might know. Hmmmm.
"Agent Romanoff."
She entered the room. "Yes, Director?"
"I need you to track someone down for me."
"Who would that be?" Natasha asked.
"He goes by the name Perseus Jackson. A suspected terrorist. We need you to find his mother and see if she knows where he is. We can never find his location."
Natasha looked shocked. I couldn't blame her. No one avoids S.H.I.E.L.D.
"Right away sir. But I suggest you try a different form of test as well. A blood test to see if he has other relatives. Might prove useful."
I regarded her. She knew something.
I let it go---for now.
"Alright. I'll take care of that. You take care of Sally Jackson."
