Cole had agreed to watch the twins while I was at work for the first day and Aiden was hanging out with Iain.

"Thank you so much." I said again as I pulled on my shoes.

"It's no problem, really." Cole said with a smile.

I said goodbye and headed to work.

After Work

I tiredly lugged myself inside the pack house.

I had to chase some lunatic on foot for almost a mile then tackled him.

I went upstairs and changed before going to find the twins.

I checked Aiden and Cole's room; empty.

I checked everywhere and when I started to panic a little.

Quickly calling Cole, I waited impatiently for him to answer.

"Hello?" He picked up.

"Hey, I was just wondering where you guys were?" I asked calmly.

"Oh, I had just taken the twins to the park, we just got here about 15 minutes ago." He explained.

"Ok, take your time. Text me when you're one your way home." I said before we said our good yes and hung up.

I had no idea what to do with myself now, neither Jayce or the twins were home.

I sat in the living room, flipping the tv on.

I watched the last few minutes of Ellen before finding Friends reruns.

I was engrossed in the show even though I've seen a lot of the episodes more than once.

I glanced up from the tv when someone walked in.

A young girl came in, bruises on her arms and one on her cheek.

She was over 13, she has already shifted. Her bruises were fresh.

"What happened to you?" I asked worriedly as I hopped up from the couch.

"I-It's noth-ing Alpha." She whispered, looking down.

"You can tell me what happened, sweetheart." I told her as I genlty pulled her to the couch, both of us sitting down.

"I can't, it will get worse. I didn't think anyone was in here." She shakily whispered.

"You need to tell me, I can help." I said and rubbed her back.

"M-my parents." She whispered, barely audible.

"They did this to you?!" My voice raised.

She nodded.

"What's your name? You will not have to see them again." I assured.

"Taylor Bennet." She spoke.

"Taylor, you won't have to worry about them laying a hand on you anymore." I said with a reassuring smile.

"Thank you so much Alpha." Taylor whispered and threw arms around my neck, hugging me.

"Your welcome. Let's go up to Jayce's office and call him. We will talk to Cole when he gets home." I said and she nodded.

I lead the way up the stairs.

"Taylor! Where are you?" An angry female voice yelled.

"No, no, no. That's my mother." Taylor whispered, she was terrified.
