Tilly's POV

"Let's go and find some place to something to eat." I say and grab my phone and purse from my desk. I walk towards the door and open it hoping that Luke would follow me as he didn't turn down the offer.

Once we were out the building we decided to turn left and explore the area first as it was only 10:30. The California life was all new to me and so I was constantly taking pictures at every opportunity.

"Can we eat now?" Luke half laughed which I suppose is a good sign. "It's 12:15."

"Wow time flies when you're having fun." I say.

"Yeah, we have different types of fun." He says and a puzzled look comes across my face.

"What's your type of fun then, Lucas?" I ask.

"Don't ever call me that again please and I find playing the guitar fun." He replies.

"I've always wanted to learn the guitar, I haven't had the time to learn in the past couple of years. Maybe you could teach me a thing or two?"

Luke's POV

Was this a good thing?

"Yeah, maybe." Is all I say for the moment.

"Where shall we eat?" Tilly asks changing the subject and I'm very grateful for that.

"Um. We could find a coffee shop." I suggest.

"Yeah sure. I think there's one on the corner. We past it earlier." She says and stops to cross the road.

Tilly's POV

The rest of the day is pretty fun. Me and Luke found the coffee shop after getting lost down turning after turning as it wasn't where I thought it was. We got to know each other a bit better but he didn't open up to any more than that he has two brothers and a dog called Molly. It was basically just me talking about New York and Luke sitting listening to me. After we had had a coffee and sandwich we walked around a bit more and then headed back to the office. Once we were back at the office I told my mum that I was going to get the bus home because I was tired and sleepy. We walked to the bus stop as it wasn't far but no body was around and the bus wasn't coming for another half an hour. Luke had said he would come with me incase something bad happened which was a bit confusing because I don't know why he was being protective of me, he didn't like me earlier on today. I fell asleep on the bus for most of the journey and Luke had to wake me up at our stop to get off.

"I'll see you tomorrow." He said.

"Yay. I can't wait." I say sleepy and sarcastically whilst backing up.

"Hey, I'm not that bad." He says laughing.

"Nope. Just confusing." I say. "Bye Luke." I say.

"Bye Tilly." He replies and I walk up my road, unlock the gate and the front door in complete silence and confusion.

"I though girls were supposed to be difficult." I say to myself out loud.

Luke's POV

I get back home in 5 minutes and I'm still smiling at how much of a good day I have had. I watched Tilly take every single photo in fascination admiring how good she was and how natural it came to her. In the coffee shop I sat and listened to all what she was saying and how I could sit there all day and listen to her talk. Watching her sleep on the bus made me feel relaxed because she looked so peaceful yet as soon as she woke up she would be the confident person that she is wanting to travel the world, take pictures and do everything possible. Looking back on my day is when I realised.
