Tilly's POV

Michael left 5 minutes ago and it's now two minutes off 5 o'clock and so Alex should be here any time soon. I check all the doors are locked and check them again out of nervousness. I don't know why I'm so nervous about going out with Alex. Was it because it was my first time properly going out with a guy at an adult age or was it because I didn't know where I was heading off to or was it what Michael said.

Three knocks at the door interrupt my thoughts about why I'm so nervous. As soon as I opened the door to reveal Alex all my nerves disappeared but I still wondered where he was taking me.

"Hey." I say first.

"Hi. Are you ready?" He asks as he pulls his arm from behind him uncovering an impressive bouquet of flowers. "These are for you." He says.

"Aw. Thank you so much Alex. You didn't have to." I tell him.

"I know I wanted to." He states. "Let's go. I have a reservation for 6 and it takes 45 minutes to get there."

By the time we are in the car and I have left the flowers at home in a vase it is now ten past five.

"Is your Mum home?" He asks walking towards the drivers side of the car.

"No, she's at work late today but she will be home at nine." I say.

"What does she do?" He sweetly asks.

"She owns an interior design company not far away." I inform him.

"Do you want to follow that career path." He asks me.

"Um I guess so. What about you what do you want to do?" I return a question.

"Accountancy of some sort. I would love to have my own business in a city. Speaking of city this weekend I was thinking we could go to Los Angeles and we can get hundreds of photos for art but most importantly we will have the best time ever because it's an amazing city."

"It's sounds great it has been one of the many places I would like to go." I say.

For the rest of the journey Alex and I had small talk but no detailed conversations as I requested that the radio was turned on. The radio wasn't something I would usually listen to but it would be rude if I brought headphones and sat listening into them the whole time.

Alex pulls up to a car park around the back of a large building and stops the car.

"I hope you're hungry." He says smiling and then climbs out of the car and I follow. "Come on it's this way." He guides me around the side of the building.

As soon as we reach the front the most beautiful restaurant stood in front of me it had glass pane windows from floor to ceiling and the levels of restaurants went up and up for as far as I could see. From all I could see which was the reception it was well decorated. The reception had a large black desk in the centre and red leather chairs were situated against the outside walls. Looking up I noticed the name that was displayed in big golden letters across the building 'The Tiffany Royal'. This definitely suited the Royal as it was so expensive looking.

"Do you want to go inside it's almost six." Alex says from behind me making me aware that I have been standing admiring this wonderful building while he was- wait go inside?

"We are going in there?" I ask turning around shocked by his words.

"Yes if that's okay with you." He says.

"It looks so expensive. I don't have enough money for this." I say.

"You don't have to pay. I wanted to take you out and this was my decision."
