Chapter 37 • "So what's going on?"

Tilly's POV

I leave the living room and go upstairs to shower and get changed into my pyjamas.

Climbing into bed I grab my laptop and open up Spotify to make a play list. One thing that did make me happy was music and the ability to combine all my music into one place was just amazing. Adding lots of my favourite songs onto a playlist from all different genres of music I spend at least 45 minutes on this mix of songs. After adding all of them it came to 131 songs and now I had to think of a playlist name.

I decide to go with random as that basically sums it up. Shutting everything down I fall quickly and quietly to sleep.

All I can say is thank god it's Saturday.

"Mum could I come to work with you today?" I ask as I go into the kitchen to get breakfast.

"Of course honey. But you'll have to leave at 3 because I have a meeting."

"Okay that's fine. I'll get ready."

I quickly eat my breakfast and go and get changed into some clothes to wear to my mums work. We head off at about 10 and arrive half an hour later. The place looks a lot more organised since the last time I was here. My mother gets bombarded with people handing her various things such as letters and magazines along with people giving her email updates.

"Helen, have you met my daughter?"

"I don't think so." She smiles sweetly at me.

"This is my daughter Tilly, Tilly this is one of my assistants Helen."

"Nice to meet you." She says smiling and then returning to her conversation with my mum that in my opinion she didn't want to have. They march off down the hall in a hurry and leave me to follow far behind.

"Tilly? What brings you back here?" Luke's brother Ben stops to ask me.

"I was bored." Or should I say I'm trying to figure your brother out right now.

"Where's Luke?" He asks.

"Um.. I don't know." I reply walking off but I hear him jog after me.

"Has something happened between you too?" He asks and I stay silent.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" I sure wanna question about it.

"Yeah sure." I say and follow him into his office. My mother has her door shut and so I can see she was busy anyway.

"So what's going on?" He says closing the door.

"First of all you can't say anything about this to him. Okay?"

"Sure."

"Well I thought that I maybe was starting to trust him with everything but then the next thing I know someone in my history class is telling my Luke's a man whore."

"Whoa back up, you don't trust him?"

"No yes I don't know. My trust is a very hard thing to earn Ben."

"Okay I get that. So since when has my brother mean a man whore."

"Apparently after the whole you know that incident." I say not mentioning it directly.

"I don't believe that." He says shocked.

"Well Michael said it was true and his my best friend. He wouldn't lie to me."

"Wow are you sure?" He questions.

"Not entirely. I just don't want to hear anymore about it right now. When the time is ri-" I'm interrupted by a knock at the door.
