Chapter 22 • "Where's Luke?"

NEXT CHAPTER ALREADY? YAY!

Tilly's POV

I start to get worried now and I check the time 5 times in one minute until I decide to speak up.

"Guys where is Luke?" I say and they all look at me which is when I realise they were mid conversation.

"I don't know." Michael says. "He said that he was going to drive in today because he had something to do before school and then he said see you at the coffeehouse." He says.

"Do you think we should text him?" Calum asks Michael.

"Yeah if he doesn't reply in 5 minutes we can check the car park." Mikey says. "What do we have first period?"

"I think it's English." I say.

"I hope he is okay." Grace says.

"Of course you do." Calum replies.

"I'm serious. We may have a lot of banter between us but I would never want him to get hurt or anything."

Then I start to wonder if he has got hurt and who may have done it.

5 minutes pass quickly and it is agreed between us that Michael and Calum go and look for Luke whilst us girls head off to class.

"We need to go shopping soon. There is a sale on in H&M and I finally have money." Grace says.

"Okay. When do you wanna go?" Rosie asks.

"Is Thursday okay?" Grace asks to both of us.

"Sounds good." I say. "That's fine." Rosie says at the same time.

"We're writing that diary thing in English today aren't we?" I ask.

"Yeah." Grace replies.

"Unfortunately." Rosie says as we reach the door to our English class room.

"Good morning." The teacher starts. "Today we are carrying not on from last lesson and writing about the key theme in the chapter of your choice and your interpretations of it. I will give you half an hour to jot some nots down and then we will discuss with the person sitting next to you about why you like this chapter and your thoughts about certain parts." She finishes.

Lucky for me my partner was Grace. I quickly looked around the room and to my surprise neither Michael, Calum or Luke were in the room. It was now ten minutes into the lesson and I started to become more and more worried so I begin to try and focus more on the work. My chapters theme is wealth and so that sets me up for half an hour.

Michael's POV

Me and Calum are sitting outside this hospital room when Ashton walks through the double doors to come and see Luke. After we left the girls we found Luke near his car knocked out and with an extremely bloody nose. We called an ambulance straight away and then they took him to this hospital and we followed.

"We don't know anything." I said as Ashton approached us.

"Did you call Liz?" He asks.

"Yeah, she's in there now."

"So we don't know if he has woken up yet?" He asks just as the doctor came out of the room. We all stood up in desperation to know how he is.

"He is awake and all is well. He just has a broken nose." The doctor tells us. "Do any of you know who Tilly is?" He asks and we all look puzzled. "He keeps asking where Tilly is." The doctor says and leaves.

"Tilly? Why would he want Tilly?" Calum asks.

"Oh god. He must have told her on the weekend." Ashton says.
