As I stood up I noticed the pain in the right side of my body but I had no choice other than to keep walking so I could know where exactly I was. I headed towards a light I could see in the distance and when it became clearer it was a night club. I smell of all illegal substances I could think of mixed together got stronger as I slowly walked towards the road which the nightclub was on. Drunken girls walked passed struggling to hold themselves up from the amount of alcohol they had probably consumed. I was too afraid to ask anyone outside and I darned not to go inside. I noticed various amounts of clubs lined the road: big and small. A bright red light caught my attention and I scarcely walked over to it where many drunken men were eating from the burger van. I need to ask if they could book me a ride home.

"Hello, can I help you?" The woman asked from behind the counter.

"Is there any chance you could book me an uber driver?" I ask.

"There's a stop down the road. Jut wait there for a few minutes. They come and go al the time."

"Thanks." I say and move away from the stench of alcohol.

I can already see some people getting into the car that is there at the moment but soon enough another one comes along and I quickly hurry towards it.

"Hey, what do you think you're doing." A drunken says from behind me as I reach to get in the car.

Staying silent for a few minutes I think of something simple to say.

"Going home."

"Well this is our car." He says.

"Leave it out." One of his friends say and sympathetically smiles at me. "He is very drunk."

"I can see."

"Go home. We will get another it's alright." He says.

"Thank you." I say and climb into the car.

"Where do you wanna go kid?" The driver asks.

"First of all where am I?"

"Los Angeles. A little place known as Night Light Street."

"How far are we from University of California?"

"About 25 to 30 minutes."

"Oh thank god. I need to go to 16 Rosebay Avenue."

"Sure. So how did you end up here? I can tell you're not supposed to be here."

"Long story. I don't wanna explain." I say.

"Okay. It's none of my business anyway." He says and turns the radio on.

I look down at my phone in my lap as the screen lights up.

Why is Luke up?

He probably just wants to know the reason I ran out not caring where I am.

I carelessly open my phone and read the most two recent messages.
