Tilly's POV
Saturday rolled around pretty quickly and Alex was coming to pick me up in about ten minutes. This week we all meet up after school enclosing Luke about three times even if it was just for an hour. Luke was still quiet but I tried my best to ignore it. Rosie , Grace and I went shopping on Wednesday after school so we could have some girl time. It was a nice evening and they are such great friends to have. Last night I went round Jacks house with my mum to catch up with him and his family after a long 5 years. Nothing has really changed about them, my mum and Jacks parents still get along very well. I'm looking forward to going into the city, it should be a lot of fun.
"Do you need any money?" My mum asks running down the stairs as the front gate buzzer goes.
"Nope. I'm good." I smile and hug her.
"Bye honey. Stay safe, love you." She kindly says.
"Love you too Mum." I say as I walk out the front door with my backpack that has everything I could possibly need.
"Hey." I greet Alex as I open the car door.
"Hi. Are you ready to hit the city?" He asks.
"Ready as ever." I say and buckle my seatbelt.
The drive to Los Angeles was okay and we only had little traffic. As soon as we got there Alex found a car park that had a long stay as we were going to be there for a while.
"Where shall we go first." I say as I climb out and shit the door slinging my back pack over my back.
"Let's just see where the roads take us." He says.
We walk around aimlessly for about an hour until we find some really nice buildings to take pictures of. By now I was quite hungry and I was really craving Starbucks so I suggested that we got fast food and Starbucks then we could still walk around but Alex had other plans. I managed to convince him that I wasn't that hungry and he finally gave in but insisted he was paying and I could have whatever I wanted. Once we had been to Starbucks and got a sandwich from a corner shop we ended up sitting on a bench alongside a busy road as all this walking was tiring.
For another two hours we spend the time walking around until my legs can't take walking any more and we begin to head back.
"I have 130 pictures. I think that's enough." I say.
"I have 100. I'm pretty sure that's a good amount." He says.
Today has just been full of laughter and fun. Alex is such a nice guy and I think I have seen the true person he is. I recognise the street we are walking down to be the one with Starbucks there and we end up getting another coffee for more energy. Another 30 minute walk and we are back at the car.
"Oh by the way, there is a party tonight." He started. Oh no. "Do you wanna come with me?"
My heart says yes but Michael says no. What do I do?
"Um I'll think about it on the way home." I say.
"Okay. It's going to be a night to remember." He says which makes me think something exciting is going to happen.
I fell asleep ten minutes into the journey for about 15 minutes but I kept me eyes closed and thought about the party weighing up the pros and cons. It would be a great way to get to know people. Noting bad is going to happen if I'm with Alex. However Michael said I must say no and I'm doubting the whole thing but that was from Michaels experience not mine.
"About the party." I begin. "I would love to come." I say and Alex's face lights up.
"Awesome. It's going to be so much fun."
