I will never forget the text I received from Althea after her meeting with Mr. Jimenez.

Katatapos lang ng dress rehearsal namin at nawala ang pagod ko ng mabasa ko ito.

"Comeback concert :) ,"

Kahit alam ko na it's a done deal, nagulat pa din ako.

I called Althea and she answered on the first ring.

"Congratulations love," yun agad ang bungad ko sa kanya.

She sounded so excited habang kinikwento ang nangyari sa meeting nila.

Aside from that, alam ko na she's raring to go back on stage.

Performing is in her blood.

Before the offer from Mr. Jimenez, wala itong tigil sa pagpapractice sa bahay.

Everyday, she sets aside an hour para tumugtog.

"Ayokong kalawangin ako," sabi niya sa akin.

Kahit it sounds ridiculous, I understood why she had to do it.

Althea loves her craft.

She lives and breathes music.

"Pero siyempre, ikaw na ang number one sa buhay ko ngayon." Paglalambing niya while we were in the music room.

Katatapos niya lang tugtugin ang Landslide, Dixie Chicks version.

Kahit ilang months na kami into our relationship, kinikilig pa din ako sa mga diskarte niya.

Kapag tumutugtog siya, lagi niyang sinasabi na hinaharana niya ako.

"Ikaw kasi ang laman ng isip ko kapag kumakanta ako," kumikinang ang mga mata nito.

Ako naman, parang teenager na nagbablush.

Paano ba naman?

Nakakainlove kasi ang boses niya.

Kung hindi ko alam kung ano ang kanyang itsura at boses niya lang ang magiging gabay ko, I would still think of her as this beautiful person.

Yun tipong makalaglag underwear kumbaga.

It sounds so baduy pero yun agad ang pumasok sa isip ko.

"We should celebrate," I suggested.

In a few weeks, ila-launch na ang fashion show.

Alam ko na after niya pirmahan ang kontrata for the concert, she will go on rehearsals.

For sure, we will both be busy.

"Why don't we go somewhere this weekend?"

"A quick trip to Bora?" bigla kong naisip at pumayag naman siya agad sa suggestion ko.

"Back where we started, Jade?" sentimental na tanong nito.

Napangiti ako.

On my way sa condo, I booked a flight to Bora pati na ang reservations sa hotel.

Dahil sa estranged na ako from my father, hindi na kami pwedeng tumuloy sa vacation house namin.

After confirming the trip, tinawagan ko agad si Paul to tell him the news.

Nasa Boracay kasi siya.

Since it's been a while since nakita ko ang mga kapatid ko, gusto ko din mag-get together kami kahit dalawa lang kami.
