We’re not lovers but we’re definitely more than friends.

Maybe that’s the best way that I could describe to you the relation between Marky and me. It’s also the relationship status that I want Facebook to have. But instead I’ve got “In a relationship” but “It’s complicated.” Amen. \(T.T)/

Marky was still holding my hand as we both stroll down the campus like its Central Park. He seems to have no plans of letting me go like he’s too afraid that I’d go some place. My palm was already getting sweaty when I tried to pull it away. When he seems to notice this he tries to hold on to me tighter.

I sighed. “I thought you’re literally speaking of not letting me go. I didn’t expect you to be exact.” (Y.Y)

He looks at me and studies my face. “So you want me to let you go?” (o.O)

I felt a tinge of pain in my heart. “No.” (T.T)

“This is all too awkward for you.” he says in a statement.

I nodded hoping he would understand. “Evan had been so…” I frowned at the sudden memory of him. “… aggressive.”

“So you want me to be aggressive?”

I sighed in defeat. “No.” I just wanted to scream. “I really don’t know what you are doing to me. Evan wasn’t really my first boyfriend but I haven’t been with someone like you.” I bit my lip and his gaze follows it. I swallowed hard and I looked away. “I don’t know how to act around you.”

He laughs. “Dennise, you know you can act just the way you are. That’s what I love about you.”

He said love not like. That makes me feel so shy. (Y.Y,)

“You can just tell me if you’re not ready for this.” he says in surrender and I saw the pain building in his eyes. “I can wait for you until you’re ready.”

“No!” I immediately said. “I want you!” (>.<)

His eyes widened in confusion. I covered my face with my hands and I groaned.

“I’m sorry.” I sighed as I looked up at him. Clearly I don’t know what else to say just to keep him. “I don’t know what I really—“

“I want you too.” He says. “That’s why I’m here.”

I blinked. Not knowing what to say again. (.____.)

“But you… you’re the one who left me.” I almost whispered.

He took a deep breath. “You’re the one who left me.”

It might have run into an argument but then we found ourselves laughing instead.

“So, what do you want us to be?”

I shrugged but I kept laughing that I wanted to just slap myself to stop.

“What do you want us to be?” I returned the question instead.

He rolled his eyes. “Dennise, I’ll be frank with you. This time I don’t want to play games.” He looked deeply into my eyes that my smile faded away from my face. “When I said I want you, I want you. I want you not just by my side or in my bed. I want all of you. I want you back in my life.”

“Marky,” I said. “I do feel the same way.”

“Yet you sounded like there’s a but in it.”

I nodded. He brushes a hand to his hair.

“Just tell me please if there’s really a chance that you want to be with me.” This is Marky.
