As I walk pass by the hallway, I could see Christina by her own at our quadrangle. She's been really quiet, and she never took the chance to talk to Allison. She isn't the same old Christina I used to know. She used to care about studying, and specially her grades but ever since then, everything sort of fall off for her. I would also be in the same situation but I know how girls would stick to an attractive guy after knowing that the girl he likes rejected him. Yeah, I'm pointing out to Allison. She and Christina are clearly NOT the same. Allison's got a bitchy attitude that some guy may like but most of them doesn't. Christina's a nice person and a very sweet girl, I don't think she deserves to be ignored and yet, I'm the one ignoring her. Allison's kind of a flirtatious type of girl. He'll hit on a guy and when he rejects her, he flirts with another one. While Christina, is a shy person who doesn't really communicate with people. Even if they have the same gender. I don't know, she's different. And I like different. People see me as the playboy because of how girls keep chasing me when I don't even want them to. I've been looking for the type of girl that's simple. Like her.
Come on, Mason. What are you going to do? Keeps running all over my head. I would talk to Christina but I'm scared of getting rejected again.
"Hey, Mason, you've been looking at the ground for about 15 minutes now. What's wrong?" Gerard asked.
"Oh, he's probably thinking about Christina. Mason, she's no—"
"Not worth my time? Huh? Allison, have you ever been in love? Do you know how it feels to get rejected?" I yelled at her.
"Man, calm down." Gerard said calmly.
"CALMING DOWN WON'T SOLVE THE PROBLEM HERE, GERARD!" I yelled.
"Geez, okay." The both of them stayed quiet and kept a bit of a distance from me. I'm the worst person ever, I know that. But, I just want to solve everything and be friends with her again. If heights used to be my fear, it has changed now.
Rejection is my new fear.
