ISLA

After Mia left Will turned to me.

"I like her," he said.

"You do?" I asked.

"Yeah," he shrugged. "She's sweet, I get that she's your first girlfriend but, she was a damn good choice."

"Thanks Will."

"No problem." He stood up. "Now I'll be in my room if you need me, nursing this Goddamn headache."

I tossed him a bottle of Tylenol.

"Rest well," I said.

He gave me a peace sign before leaving.

I sat down and plugged in my earphones into my laptop, listening to music while roaming the Internet.

After over three hours of Tumblr and checking up on Will my phone vibrated.

Want to come over?

I quickly replied Be there in twenty.

Okay see you then

I took a shower and told Will I was leaving before getting on my bike and driving to Mia.

"Hey," Mia said, giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Seriously?" I said, and pulled her in for an actual kiss.

I pulled away. "Much better," I said as a blush tinted her cheeks.

She lead me into the house and to the kitchen.

"Mom!" she yelled. "I'm going to be baking with Isla, kitchen is off limits!"

"You don't pay the mortgage!" her mom yelled back. "It's my house I'll go where I want to!"

Mia sighed and began pulling out different ingredients.

"What are we making?" I asked.

"Well I was thinking something fall like," she said. "Maybe Apple cupcakes with a vanilla frosting."

"That's way beyond my level," I said.

She smiled. "You'll learn."

We began getting all the ingredients and mixing them.

"Mix with me," Mia said.

I stood behind her and placed a hand on her waist and my other hand on the blender on top of her hand.

"Like this?" I whispered in her ear.

She gulped and gave a nod.

I may have gotten my womanizing qualities from Will.

I stopped the blender and turned her around to face me.

I leaned in and Mia flicked flour at my face.

She cackled wildly, until I threw flour back at her.

She grabbed an egg and cracked it over my head.

I threw some milk at her.

We laughed as we continued attacking each other.

After all our ingredients ran out, Mia and I sat on the floor of the mess we made. Her in my arms.

"I see you two didn't make anything," Mia's mom said.

I smiled at her. "We got a bit distracted."

Mia snorted. "A bit."

Mia's mom clapped once. "Okay get out so I can clean."

"We can—"

With a hand she silenced Mia. "You two get cleaned up, have fun, watch a movie or whatever kids do for fun."

"You sure?" Mia asked.

"Yes," she said. "Now shoo."

We headed upstairs to Mia's room where she blasted her music as we cleaned up.

"Here," she said, opening her walk in closet. "You're probably my size."

"Thanks," I said, walking inside with her next to me.

I pick out a white tank top, black leather pants and a plaid shirt around the waist and handed them to Mia. "You have the curves to wear this," I said with a wink. "Trust me I know."

I took a black crop top, a black beanie, and black jeans.

"You're not so bad yourself," she said.

"What do you want to do?"

"Just talk." She sat on her bed, and turned off the music.

I sat across from her.

"I barely know you," she said. "I know about your family and where you're from but I don't know the important stuff."

I raised an eyebrow. "Like?"

"Pfft, what's your favourite colour?"

"Purple, you?"

"Baby blue."

"I know how to make this more fun," I said.

"How?"

"I'm going to need two beers," I said.

"Never Have I Ever?" she asked, moving to her mini fridge to pull out two beers.

I popped open my beer.

"Never have I ever dated someone," I said.

Mia drank.

"Never have I ever traveled."

I took a drink.

"Really where?" she asked.

"All over Europe some of US. Never have I ever gone camping."

Mia drank.

"Never have I ever burnt food."

"Mia Grant are you trying to get me drunk?" I asked. She laughed as I drank.

"Never have I ever switched schools," I said.

"Now you're trying to get me drunk," Mia said.

I laughed. My phone vibrated.

"It's the guys," I told Mia. "They want to come over, should I just tell them to fuck off or?"

"Tell them to come," Mia said. "We can all play on the roof."

We grabbed more beers.

My phone went off again. "Bea, and Beth are coming over too."

Mia grabbed two more beers and we headed to the roof.
