"How was cheer?" Isla asked, as I answered the phone.
"Good." I sighed. "I have to tell you something."
"What's up?"
"Macy she um asked me to," I paused. "Be head cheerleader of the junior varsity squad."
"Is that good?" she asked as I started climbing up the stairs of the school.
"Yes," I laughed.
"Yay!" she exclaimed.
"You're adorable," I said, with a smile.
"Can you meet me in the atrium?" she asked.
I turned around and headed down the stairs. "Sure, why?"
"You'll see in a few minutes," she said and hung up.
I reached the bottom step and noticed that the atrium lights were all off. I opened the door and called, "Isla?"
The lights all turned on at once. A group of people were surrounding the room and Isla stood in the middle. She was holding a sign that said 'I know we're not straight so will you be my date? Semi?'
I ran to Isla and kissed her. Pulling back, I said "how's that for a yes?"
"She said yes!" she yelled and everyone cheered.

I glanced over at Isla sleeping, her short hair a mess and her mouth wide open as she snored softly.
I pressed a kiss to her forehead and stood up.
Fine, I texted. I'll be your sex slave.
That's the spirit ;), Macy texted back. See you tomorrow at cheer.
