Day 8

"Hey, gal. Welcome to SS Cafe," A brunet in magician costume welcomed you as he gently kissed your hand. He then escorted you into the Cafe.

You were welcomed by an eerie atmosphere, where the whole vicinity was coated with red velvet curtains and some decorations of paper bats and pumpkins. On the floor of each corner, there's also a jack-o-lantern, lighting the room dully. The usual lights were replaced with chandeliers with dimly lit candles. Is this Halloween? I mean, it's been like a week or so since the last celebration was.

He then find a seat for you and him. The table was already set with plates and spoons and other utensils with cute bat designs. As you sat, you caught sight of other idols in costumes that you don't usually see them with. You saw Tokiya and Ren in vampire outfits with sharp looking canines that looked like they can easily bite the customers on the neck. Natsuki is wearing a costume of a fairy while Syo is wearing a pirate costume, with a fake parrot bird on his shoulder.

"Girl, what would you like to eat? We have pumpkin soup and blood ice-cream for today's special!" the brunet asked as he rested his chin on the palm of his hand with a smile.

The brunet, Reiji Kotobuki, was somewhat the most sparkling among the members in the room as he wore a black magician's hat with a spaekling green ribbon tied around it. He also wore a sparkling tuxedo and a black pair of leather shoes to match his outfit. Whats more, he also wore a black cape!

"What's wrong? You seemed so mesmerised by my appearance," Reiji commented playfully with a wink, making you come back to your senses.

You decided to try out the blood ice-cream and ordered some other stuffs. He then called out to Camus, who happened to be nearby(Camus is in his Count costume) to place the orders.

Camus was somewhat irked by Reiji's voice but still faithfully carried out his orders. But before he left, Camus said:

"Ojou-sama, it will be appreciated if you were to join the 'Test of Courage' with this man here with you."

After being told by Camus, almost immediately, your eyes began to glimmer. You loved Test of Courage even though you ended up being scared.

"Ano...ojou-chan, I hope you wouldn't consider about going there..." Reiji began with a weak laughter.

"Ehhh?!?!? You serious? I'm SO going!" You told him, nearly flipping the table. Reiji just stared at you with wide eyes. "I understand, ojou-chan. I will protect you with my bravery!"

After having the food, you dragged the hesitating Reiji to the simulation room. There, you saw Cecil and Ren, welcoming the customers. Cecil was in an Arabic prince costume, which is highly loved by everyone while Masato was in a samurai costume with a katana on his hands.

And so, by the time you and Reiji finally arrived at the entrance, Cecila and Masato welcomed with a smile.

"Ah, Rei-senpai. I heard you are afraid of ghosts," Cecil stated, almost immediately, making Reiji's face flashed in red.

"But but but! I will protect her!" Reiji said with a smirk.

"I understand, so please enter," Masato said with a smile.

The journey in the darkness with the fraidy Reiji and you. As soon as you two entered the room, darkness enveloped the two of you and was welcomed with a sound of laughter and cries and ear piercing shouts. Reiji was totally scared from the way he acted. You asked him if he can manage the journey in this darkness. He replied:

"Of course I-I-I can. I m-mean I have to protect you!"

You smiled it off as you proceed futher. It was actually a maze where you and Reiji have to find a way back to the exit.

You could see bats flying above you and some detached skeletons lying on the cement floor. There's also trees which could be mistaken for a silhouette if not observed properly. Furthermore, theres also a graveyard where coffins were all lying around the place, as if a corpse would rise up if you were to take a peek in it.

Reiji was somewhat calm but suddenly, a cold slimy thing touched his shoulder, making him shriek in fright as he ran to you for shelter. It was a moving corpse!!! Reiji quickly pulled you for a run as the corpse began running towards you guys at top speed. Reiji quickly find a place to hide before the corpse could catch you two. The two of you hid in a tight space which the corpse will not find you no matter how powerful it's sixth sense may be.

"Don't worry, I won't let it hurt you," Reiji told you with a whisper as he hold you close. You could feel his hands were trembling and his hitching breath after running due to adrenaline.

As soon as the corpse disappeared, Reiji held onto your hand and went out of the hiding spot, but was once again greeted by a pack of werewolves.

"Ojou-chan, follow me!" Reiji told you as the two of you ran like crazy. The werewolves began growling and chased after the two of you.

And so, thw to of you arrived to an old mansion which looked haunted. Reiji had no choice but to hide inside. And so, you were once again greeted by the cold and lifeless atmosphere, giving spine chills. You could hear the sound of a woman's cry, which made Reiji jolted.

"I'm not scared! I must protect her," Reiji told himself.

After that the fun begins where the sound of chains hitting the wooden floors that have rotted. Next, a ghost started to cry as it kept on saying that it had lost something important in this mansion. You decided to help but instead was stopped by Reiji.

"I think its best not to help her out...I mean it might be a hoax," Reiji adviced while checking the certain supernatural being.

"No matter what, I will still help her," you told him and began to get inquiries for the item.

After fulfilling the request, the two of you decided to continue the search for the exit after going out of the mansion. Just when the two of you wad about to walk calmly, a group of zombies appesred right before you. And so, its time to break for another run. This time you tripped onto a rock and fell.

Reiji was shocked by what happened and hurried towards you AND carried you in bridal style.

"Hang on tight!" Reiji told you as he ran. His fraidiness seemed to have disappeared. "I guess I'm glad to actually experience this with you."

Running aimlessly, Reiji had to fend off the zombies with his magic cards under his sleeves even though it is quite useless. After a few attempts, the light leading to the exit flashed before your eyes. Reiji then took a few strides towards the exit and finally, returned to the Cafe.

"Ojou-chan, just now, did you hurt yourself?" Reiji asked, worried. You told him tht you are fine.

"Ah, Reiji. Took you quite a long time to come out from there," Ai stated with his deadpan eyes.

"Ai-ai, why did the simulation looked like as if those zombies are targetting us? And there's a ghodt in a mansion!" Reiji asked.

"Ah...I reprogrammed the zombies to chase the customers so that it could speed up the time for people to look for the exit. About the ghost...I don't remember adding a ghost into the program..." Ai explained.

"The ghost is in a run down mansion!" You added.

"Mansion? Hm...I didn't add a mansion into the program either. Maybe you two must be hallucinating," Ai replied.

Silence filled the air, making Reiji turn pale. He was so sure that it was there!

"It might just be a glitch. Don't worry," Ai informed.

With that, the day ended with a magic show done by Reiji. Reiji invited you as the special customer, which he shares his secret to magic.

"Girl, glad that you were here to experience the scariest nightmare of the Cafe," Reiji told you and pat your head. "Happy Halloween!"
