Today was the day I started my dance classes. Two days ago I had asked to change my classes and John approved. I haven't felt like seeing him lately since his little confession, well, if it was even true.

I had succeeded in staying away from Parker who I couldn't face after I made out with him in the Main Office before John walked in.

I had barely eaten in days since I hadn't been hungry, or at least I thought so. I made my way down stairs towards the kitchen. Breakfast was over, but maybe I could make something for myself. The kitchen was beautiful.

The cabinets were all polished with a dark oak wood. The granite counters seemed to sparkle. The tiles on the floor looked they hadn't even been walked on. It was crazy how clean it was. This room is usually one that's at least have foot marks from shoes on the tile and scratches on the counter tops from knifes cutting too far. I felt awkward to walk into the room. I felt like I was going to mess it up, but hey I was hungry.

My stomach growled moving me forward onto the tile and towards the fridge. I opened the doors to see...

Nothing! Nothing at all!

"What the heck?" I asked closing the door.

"We don't use this kitchen." I jumped at the voice, but turned around to see Toby.

"What do you mean you don't use THIS kitchen?" I asked confused.

"Our chefs cook in the other kitchen that opens up to the dining room." I nodded.

"Okay... well then, can you bring me there?" I asked kindly pulling my lips back into a smile. Toby shook his head chuckling.

"Come on." He said motioning me to follow him. I carefully watched my footing on the tile and once I was back onto hardwood I darted to the pace Toby was at, only a couple steps behind.

So, the day was going pretty well for me.Gym had just ended and I was starting to change for my next class which was Advanced Trig. I laughed when Jess came in from the Gym doors and towards her locker.

"What so funny?" She hissed at me who was uncontrollably laughing.

"Look at your clothes!" I said pointing at her.

Jess looked down breathing, "Huh?” When her eyes noticed the wet shirt right around her chest she pulled the shirt off and threw her other one on.

"Stupid hormonal guys." She muttered as she changed out of her gym shorts and into her jeans. I wiped a single tear from my eye and stopped my laughing.

"Phew oh man that was funny. What did you do?" I asked.

"I was just getting a drink when the drinking fountain squirted up at me! There wasn't anything on my shirt! At least I thought not..." She cursed under her breath as she slugged the bag over her shoulder.

"Hey come on at least the guys didn't see it." I told her.

"They were the ones laughing and that's why I was already pissed walking in here. I thought they were making fun of me." She said.

"They were!"

"I know that now!" Jess growled stomping out of the changing rooms.

"Okay I'll see you in Art!" I called after her. I could tell she wasn't mad at me, but yet at the guys who were laughing at her. I couldn't help, but smile at her clumsiness.

Jess and I had become friends over the past couple of days. She was in a few of my classes including my Lunch. There were two lunches and luckily we both had gotten into the same one. The only thing that sucked was that Toby and Nadine were in the second lunch so the first day I had to find it by myself. Actually, to think about it I hadn't seen Toby at all until the end of the day. I hadn't even seen his girlfriend, Nadine.

Anyways, my next class was Advanced Trig. So I made my way through the building towards the room. When I got there I was one of the few early. I cursed myself at my dumb mistake for if I was early I had to take one of the front row seats. In this class you had to fill in when you came so the earlier you were the closer to the board you got.

Not even the nerds were here yet! I mumbled a few more curse words as I sat down in the front row directly in front of the white board.

Our first two days of class we had had a sub for our teacher hadn't came back from summer vacation yet.

Stupid-head.

The bell rang and as homeroom had happened kids poured into the classroom. Seats were taken and a girl with red hair and glasses frowned when she had seen me in the front seat.

"I knew I shouldn't have gone back to my locker..." She mumbled to herself.

CREEPY!

I frowned wishing she would ask me to get up and I happily would. Maybe since the teacher was different I could switch my seat. I started to get up and pick my stuff up when I heard a deep-husky voice in front of me.

"Okay class... Excuse me where are you going?" He asked. I felt my face go red as I ran my finger through my hair and faced him smiling.

"Ugh-" I froze when I saw him.

He looked, looked wonderful! He was dashingly handsome with dirty-blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes. God I felt like a love struck teen the way I stared at him. He looked like he was in college or just got out of something!

He raised his eyebrows at me. I shook my head changing my thoughts.

"Sorry I was just sitting back down." I said looking down at my desk. I heard a few laughs go through the crowd.

"Good. I was looking forward to having you in the front." He said smiling at me. My blush deepened and I sulked back into my chairs. "Anyways, alright these are your seats for the rest of the year." He announced. "Now for more important matters your homework due tomorrow."

"Ha-ha that's hilarious!" Jess giggled having a few glares shoot our way.

"Sorry." I mouthed to them. They just rolled their eyes and turned back to their easels. I hit Jess's arm.

"It wasn't funny. It was embarrassing!" I felt my blush creep back up.

"Yeah, it was embarrassing the way you tell it, but the way I hear it is, that you got a compliment from the hottest teacher in this school." Jess said plopping her paint brush into our blue and causing a splat onto my canvas. My blush was now a dark red. I could just feel it.

"Jess!" I whined.

"Oops. Sorry On." Jess had started to call me On which, was short for Anya which, was short for Anastasia. I told her she was crazy, but insisted on giving me a nickname already on my nickname. Actually, it didn't bother me as much as it did yesterday.

"Yeah well it actually blends in." I said looking at my art work.

"Um, yeah. Can I ask a question?" I nodded. "Ugh, what is it again?" I groaned loudly and rested my head on my hands.

"It's supposed to be a beach." I said looking at my messed up artwork. My sun was only a circle of yellow in the sky and the beach was just dots of yellow all over the bottom of the paper.

"At least my blue fits in with the water." Jess said.

"That was going to be the beach towel and stuff." I replied staring at the picture.

"Oh, well then. Um... now that's going to be a part where the beach dips down." I looked over at Jess. "Okay it'll be a wave." She said taking her brush and flicking the blue upward in a wave like motion. "See there. All better."

"Yeah, I guess." I mumbled looking at Jess's painting of a forest. The trees actually looked real! "How do you do it?" I asked her.

Jess only shrugged with a reply of, "It's my talent?"
