hey guys sorry for the late update been really busy. But I made it a little long so I hope you guys like that fact. Also this chapter may be a little boring. Its kind of like a filler part to lead up to a certain point in the day. Sorry if that makes u guys a little upset. But I hope you stick with the story and I hope the cliff hanger at the end keeps you hooked lol. Thanks

Chapter 19- Exploring Curiosity part 1

After getting out of the shower, I stayed in my towel for a minute and lay across my bed. Closing my eyes I let my mind drift, not really trying to think about anything specific or important, but just let it wonder for a while. By the time I decided to sit up again and get myself together it was almost two hours later.

Shaking my head as I righted myself, I gave a defeated sigh. It seemed ever since breakfast with the Sullivan brothers I've been on some type of autopilot and I knew why. This whole situation was confusing me greatly and I hated it. I needed to get a handle on myself especially when I am around them. I need to shield myself and my feelings from the three alluring brothers. I needed to keep my guard up around them and I knew it was possible... Because that is a craft I have mastered from years of experience. I just needed to get it back and only focus on the important things which are to make it through a year here and keep my feelings at bay. Then I'd get my money and be able to start over and make myself a new life somewhere far away from here.

A knock came through the door just as I went to stand from my bed. Turning, I watched as the door opened and in walked Marla. Smiling a small smile as she away did, she greeted me kindly, "Ms. Amelia, I thought I'd come check on you dear. I haven't seen you wondering around the house this morning and wanted to make sure you were alright," she said in a concerned tone.

I gave her a small smile of my own, "Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Just needed to shower and all. Everything's fine, I'm fine," I told her trying to sound nonchalant, but instead to my ears it sounded like I was trying to convince not only her but myself. Looking at Marla, it seemed she had thought the same thing seeing as her expression looked disbelieving. But she didn't comment on my obvious little lie, instead she just smiled and gave a little nod before walking over to my bed and placing a few garment bags on its edge. I hadn't even noticed her holding them before, probably because I was too busy trying to convince her that I was okay.

"What the bags for," I asked as I walked over to the flat looking bags. Marla gestured with her hand towards the bags before responding, "These are a few items the Sullivan's thought you might like. There's a few casual dresses in there, a couple pairs of pants and some shirts. I hope you find them of your taste my dear."

While she was talking, I took the opportunity to run my fingers over the bags. I couldn't believe they got me all this and willingly. It was a nice gesture, "This is all for me?" I spoke my thoughts as I looked towards Marla.

She nodded, "Of course dear. Now why don't you put something on and come down for lunch. I had the cooks fix you up something to eat."

When she said that I immediately looked down at myself. I was still in my towel. Blushing, I nodded in agreement, "Oh yeah sure, I'll be down in a minute."

Marla gave another smile and nod before walking back to my doorway and leaving. As soon as she was out of sight, I went for the bags and began to open up each of them. Just as Marla had said, there were dresses and pants and shirts. There were also a few underwear sets which had me completely embarrassed and wondering which brother had thought to add those. I had a feeling it was either Kendall or Cole.
