I'm sorry guys. I am a shitty writer. I gotta pee so this chapter is short asf. I'm on a field trip.

Jacob was slouched in his seat. He moved his vegetables with his fork lazily. Every now and then he'd mumble a response.

Stephanie was sick of it.

"You know you could just leave." She sighed.

She really liked Jacob but obviously he wasn't interested in her.

Jacob looked up at her. Now deciding to sit up straight.

"I'm sorry. It's just..." he trailed off. He didn't know what to say.

Stephanie put her head down staring at her lap.

Jacob felt bad. He grabbed her hand tentatively.

"Look Tiffany-"

She snatched her hand with a scoff.

"It's Stephanie! Goodbye Jacob." She shook her head grabbing her coat and clutch rushing out.

Jacob sighed rubbing his temples with a groan.

He left without paying the bill.

"Hey!" Yelled the waiter.

Stephanie sat on a bench crying. Her heels were in her hands and her mascara was smeared.

Jacob chest tightened. He walked up to her.

Stephanie wiped at her face.

"Get the fuck away from me you dick head." She grumbled.

Jacob smiled. "Wow. You have such an extensive vocabulary."

She rolled her eyes. "I bet you can't even spell extensive."

Jacob chuckled. "Maybe I can't."

He sat down next to her only for her to turn her back.

Jacob sighed. "Look I'm sorry. I'm not good at the whole dating scene. I'm more of a hit it and quit it kind of guy. I didn't mean to be a douche. I'm naturally a douche."

Stephanie kept quiet. All that was heard was the waterfall behind them.

"Girls usually go for me for dick. They don't try to get to know me and vice versa. I guess I just thought you were like the rest. I mean you did dance for me at that party..I just assumed you were a hoe. I'm sorry Stephanie." Jacob said turning her around.

He really was sorry. He hated to see anyone cry.

Stephanie smiled a little. "You're forgiven. Thanks for being so honest by the way." She chuckled.

"You're welcome." Jacob laughed a little.

Stephanie looked down with a small smile.

Jacob grabbed her hand standing.

"You wanna run around in the sprinklers over there?" He asked with a smirk.

"I don't think we're aloud to-"

"But the feds not watching though." Jacob raised a brow.

Stephanie laughed. "Okay."

Jacob and Stephanie ran towards the sprinklers getting all wet.

During their little fun. Jacob couldn't help but notice how beautiful her black eyes were. It caused him to stop in his tracks.

"What's wrong?" Stephanie asked with a breathless smile.

Jacob blinked. "Nothing."
