Sniper's POV

After saying good night to (y/n), I went to my van. It's a shit place to most, but it's mine. I set my hat and glasses down on the counter, and ran my hand through my hair. It's been a long day, so I decided to have a smoke. As I strike a match, there's a knock on my door. Everyone on base knows not to disturb me in my van, so it's either (y/n), or more likely...

"Whaddya want Spook?"
"I cannot simply visit my friend?" I opened the door.
"You don't have friends, you have people you havn't killed yet."
"You wound me bushman. May I come in?" I rolled my eyes, waving him in with a grunt.

I get myself a beer from the fridge, offering one to Spy. He refused as usual.
"So," he says lighting one of his cigarettes, "What do you make of (y/n)?" I raised mI eyebrow at the question.
"Why?"
"Just answer."
"I think it'll be interesting having a woman on the team."
"Not professionally you idiot. What do you think of her? You find her attractive, non?"
"Wot tha hell kinda question is that?" He smirked. "
I saw the way you looked at her at the reserve."
"She is a beut... Surprised you aren't tryin' ta romance her."
"She's not interested."
"Ow do you know?"
"Ou saw the way she reacted to my first advance." I smirked this time: pretty entertaining to see a woman not fall at Spy's feet.

"Woi you askin' me this anyway?" His expresssion turned serious.
"Because for once I 'ave seen you smile, and only around her." He stood up, heading towards the door. Before he left though, he paused, and looked at me.

"She will be good for you bushman, you can't spend eternity alone."
