제 17 장

"She's back."

"I know, let's just see what the upcoming situation."

Jin's POV

"Miss, we're here." the driver stop the car right in front of aquarium as we got down together. I watch MinJoo who's holding Jinshi's hand happily and had already forgotten my presence here. I let out a deep breath then follow behind them. "Ahn Jinshi." Jinshi said to the worker there as they brought us in.

"Woah!" MinJoo wowed as she stick herself to the glass watching the fishes swim by. "Baww!" She scared away the fishes with her mouth open. Jinshi chuckled as she joined MinJoo beside, leaving me behind, watching them like sisters and I'm like a stranger. "Jin?" Jinshi called as I walk to join them then she pulled me to an auditorium, it's more like an aquaditorium [I make up that word tbh or maybe not]

"What are we doing here?" I asked Jinshi as she remain silent, taking MinJoo to meet the workers here who's having themselves dress in long swimsuit with oxygen tank behind them. "Unnie? What are we going here?" MinJoo asked, staring at those workers. Jinshi bent down to have the same height with her then pats her head, "Down there lots of fishes, more than what you saw just now. These unnies will bring you down there to play. I'll be outside the tank watching you. Okay?" She asked as MinJoo nod in excitement.

Minjoo learnt swimming 3 years ago so she's fine with water. Minjoo followed one of the unnie to go change meanwhile Jinshi and I took a seat right in front of the tank. "Three years past huh?" Jinshi smiled weakly but her eyes aren't looking at me.

"It is. Time flies faster than I thought." It does, for this 3 years with my heart unhealed and now she's back again, alive. It's hard to believe but there she is, in person. "What happen to you three years ago?" I asked, the maze of the question is not done yet. She was said to be killed but she's still alive.

"Unconscious after the operation and was moved to London to have better care. There is where I meet HimChan, my personal doctor."

"And your current boyfriend?" She nod, my heart ached. Only if I didn't attend the training camp and stay by her side taking care of her, everything wouldn't be like what it is now.

"Thanks for the care.. you are.. a good friend." She smiled but a faked one, right in front of me. I pull out my infamous fake smile and ruffled her hair, "I will always be." It might hurt for me to know she's placing me in the friend-zone but now at least I can do is protect her, the one I love.

"There she is!" Jinshi pointed at the tank which MinJoo and the workers are inside already. We watch them playing, scaring the fish and swim along with them, how good it is to be some kids without this pressure and unsolved question.

"How's your eyes?" I questioned when I remember she was unconscious because of the operations for her eyes. "Better, better than carrying a machine. If you're going to ask about my hearings.." She tuck her hair to the back of her ear, she's wearing the same hearing-aid after all.

"Somehow, I learnt the lips language." She smiled, her eyes are still on the tank. I wish I can stop the time now and enjoy watching her smile like I use to before. "I study the movement of lips so that's the lips language." She look at me while I look away, blinking my eyes few times, reminding myself that HimChan is her current boyfriend and it'll never be me.

"I see. So when people is whispering-"

"I study their lips."

After that we both are silent, didn't know what topic we should start or what we should say until MinJoo came out from the tank while I dash to her and wrap her in towel before she could catch a cold. "You did amazingly inside, I took some photos of you!" She said and show the pictures she capture of her. "Unnie are we going to the zoo next?" Minjoo asked as she nods in return.

"Go get change then we'll head to the zoo." Minjoo nod and hop along with the workers to the changing room.

"Jin." She called.

"Huh?"

"Anything happens, protect MinJoo."
