Harry's P.O.V.

Why didn't I see it before? No way can Percy be a death eater!

I feel really guilty now, all this time I had framed the wrong person based on half-found facts.

And when I try to apologize, Percy just gave waved me away saying it was okay.

When you look at him closely, you can see an aura surrounding him, like he is the leader. Everyone looks up to him for instructions. Even Thalia, who seems to always do her own thing.

I should've known, I was being an idiot.

Everything Percy has ever seen or done. All the deaths, he blames it all on himself.

The main question that keeps reappearing in my mind is:

How and why?

How does he stay standing, without being crushed? Mentally, but I am sure sometimes physically.

Why, why does he put it all on himself, without letting anyone know? He keeps himself guarded, but why not let his friends in?

I want to ask Percy these questions, but I am afraid of ruining what fragile friendship we have made.

Honestly, I always thought I had a hard life. But compared to any of the demigods, it must seem like a piece of cake, or a blue cookie in Percy's case.

Annabeth, Nico, and Percy all look like they have been through hell and back. Which, in their case, may even be true.

I will never know. Or will I?

Personally, I am not even sure I want to hear what they have done.

I will admit it. I am scared.

I remember Percy's boggart, the giant dude, two girls, and man.

We need to collaborate. That much is certain.

My thoughts return to what information I have gathered on Percy.

How does he do it? Why does he do it? I need to know, but the same time, I don't want to know.

Sorry if you find this chapter slightly morbid. I am once again in a car, for a one and a half hour drive. With nothing else to do but listen to music, which I actually am doing. Oh well. Hope you enjoyed.
