Perspective and seeing silver lining is super important, even though cliche. You could be driving down and road and if you just pay attention to the cracked pavement, you'll miss the beautiful trees.

So, I was driving down the road and I was grumbling about the stupidity of Memphis drivers (we're pretty famous for sucking at driving) and how the city was so ghetto in some parts and the city council should do something, and how the road was cracked and there were so many potholes...And then something made me pay more attention to the trees. And I noticed just how beautiful they were, with the changing colors. Lime greens, deep dark greens, crimsons, oranges, yellows, golds...TN is known for having some beautiful trees, and I was amazed by it. Especially with the morning light shining through the dying branches. It was a magnificent sight. And the road looked like decrepit, and the houses looked less ghetto. It all came together to form a beautiful masterpiece painted by God. Call it cheesy all you want, but if I didn't stop and appreciate the trees, I never would have appreciated anything.
