If someone hates you for what you believe: let them. If they hate your beliefs or religion--or thinks you're stupid for believing what you do--let them. True ignorance is unjustified loathing, true ignorance is assuming the universe can easily be explained and boxed into the impossibility of any sort of deity and the permanence of purposeless.

It takes just as much faith to believe there is no God, as it does to believe their is one. If anything, it takes more faith. A religious person loses nothing if they are wrong, but gains everything. A nonreligious person loses everything is they are wrong, and gains nothing if they are right.
