Al's POV
Winry and I smiled as we looked through our photo album. The library wasn't much help, so we decided on some photos instead. I flipped through some of the pages. "Hey look! Here's Brother and the General when they got separated from us at the park!" I laughed. Ed was blushing darkly, and the General was laughing. Secretly, Winry and I had followed them around. I wanted to make sure that the General was nice to Brother. Winry smiled. "And here's that day in the snow!" She cheered. I looked over at her. Brother looked angry as he was covered like a snow man. Winry and I were laughing as he looked like he was chasing the General. "Alright, let's grab these and go see if they help Ed remember anything." She declared. I nodded and we grabbed some photos and ran out my room. "Where even is Ed right now?" Winry asked. "He's at Central Command still. I just don't know where." I replied. Winry nodded and we walked towards Central.
Ed's POV
I was reading a book when I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. "Eh...? Al...? Winry? What are you two doing here?" I asked. They placed down a bunch of photos in front of me. "What the...?" I mumbled. Al and Winry sat down next to me. "Ed. Take a look at these photos." Winry ordered. I looked at her in confusion. "Just take a look at them Ed." She sighed. I nodded and looked through the photos. After I was finished, I put them down and stared at the two. "Ring any bells?" Al asked. I shook his head. "I don't think I really analyzed them....I'll look again." I replied. They nodded and I looked at the photos. "Remember anything Ed?" Winry asked. I shook my head. 'What the hell? Why do they want me to remember something so badly?' I thought. "Brother, do you seriously not remember anything?" Al asked. I stood up quickly from my chair. "You know, I've been pretty annoyed today. People looking at me like I did something horrible. Everyone is treating me so differently! And now, whatever I'm trying to remember, I don't get it! Why can't I remember?! Everyone else gets to know, but not me?! It makes no sense!" I exclaimed, causing people to look over at us. I clenched my fists tightly and bolted out the door. As I was running, I ran into Mustang. "Move out my way." I snapped. He grabbed my wrist. "Fullmetal what's wrong?" He asked. I pulled my wrist away. "Nothing." I lied.
Al's POV
General Mustang walked through the doors. "And what exactly happened to Ed?" He asked. "We were trying to get him to remember Sir. But, it seems he ended up snapping instead." I replied. General sighed.  "Don't do that again you two. Got it?" He asked. We nodded as he walked out. I looked at Winry. "Hey Winry?" I asked. "Hm?" "I don't think Brother will ever remember the type of relationship him and the General had." I said sadly. She nodded in agreement. "Me too...." She agreed. I couldn't help but pull her into a small hug. "But it's for the better. Because Ed doesn't remember that torture right?" She asked. I couldn't help but tighten my grip softly. "Forgetting the person you love, is the worst type of torture."
