Chapter 18:The Predator and the Prey

Vienesse POV

Hinawakan ko ang kamay ni Klein na may hawak ng baril.

Magkasama naming binaril ang target.Sapol. Our bodies are just inches away.

I can feel Klein cringe. Maging ako ay naiilang sa posisyon naming. Natahimik ako.Saka ako bumaril ulit.

"You're really an expert here huh?"Tanong ni Klein habang hawak pa rin ang baril.

"Would you rather be the one to shoot? Or be the one who is shooted. Be the predator? Or the prey?"Tanong ko kay Klein. I was trying to make a point.

Nilapitan ako ni Klein. He shot his glance on me. Posing those gorgeous blue eyes on me.

"Depende"Makahulugang sabi niya at binawi ang tingin.

I was never the prey, but things changed after I met this demon brat. Klein is the predator and I was starting to be the prey. Palagi akong nahuhulog sa tawa at kakulitan niya, even his kiss. I shrugged at the thought.

Hindi madalas mangyari iyon. I am always the predator and the other's fall prey to me. Maybe, it's because of my doll like looks, it deceived some people.

"Okay, we're done here. We move on to the next our combat"Mukhang nagulat siya sa sinabi ko.

Palaging armas ang gamit ko. I rarely fight in combat.

I prefer to kill them quickly. I am not a masochist. Hindi ko pinatatagal ang mga paghihirap nila.

I changed my clothes. I wore the appropriate taekwondo outfit. Which I rarely do, I can fight any time, any place, without or with a taekwondo outfit on. I just want this fight to be formal.

Nagulat siya sa kulay ng belt ko. I was black belter. I aced my taekwondo lessons years ago.

"You're a blackbelter? Akala ko magaling ka lang pagdating sa baril. But I am not giving in without a fight"He couragely said. Just the courage I was expecting him. This guy is something.

"Sure"Bored na sabi ko.

Sinimulan naming mag stretching. Nang matapos kami puwesto kami sa isang flatform.

Pumorma si Klein.Nakatayo lamang ako. Tinalasan ko ang paningin sa paligid.

Pumorma siyang susuntukin ako. I blocked his arm and gabbed him strongly on the gut.

Halatang nasaktan siya. Napadapa siya sa sakit. Pumorma siya ulit at sumugod sa likod ko.

Hinila ko siya paharap, which he didn't anticipate. Napahiga siya sa flaform. Tumayo siya ulit at nagpaulan ng suntok. He missed it all. Iniwasan ko lahat ng iyon.

Lumapit siya sa akin at nginitian ako. Nagulat ako sa ginawa niya. He kissed me again. All the courage I hold faded again. Hindi ko napaghandaan iyon. Nagtagal ang halik na iyon ng tatlong Segundo. Pinakawalan niya ako.

Hahalikan niya ako ulit. But I was fast. I somersaulted until I can feel my feet flat on the floor.

Nagulat siya na nasa likod na niya ako. Hinawakan ko siya sa leeg.

"Okay, Vienesse! Klein! Time's up"Pigil ni Mendev sa amin. That saved Klein. Because the minute I get my hands on him I might break his bone.

I extended a hand forward, he took mine but it was a wrong move for him. Less than a fraction of a second. Nakahiga na siya sa sahig. I know the impact on the fall was strong. Padapa siyang bumagsak.

I know it was a dirty move, but he should know better than to kiss a certain Vienesse Elle T. Adams.

Nakahiga pa rin siya sa sahig.

"What was that for?"Naiiritang tanong niya sa akin.

"That's for stealing a kiss from me twice"Nauna na akong umalis.

"That woman is impossible. I can say that she isn't human"Tumayo na ako at pinunasan ang pawisang mukha.

Natawa na lang ng malutong si Mendev sa sinabi ko.
