Chapter 25:Beautiful Stranger

Winter's POV

Nagising ako sa titig ng isang estranghero. May hawig siya kay Klein. Pinalis ko muna sa isip si Klein.

Umisod ako palayo sa kanya.

"Isa ka ba sa mga bandido"takot kong tanong sa kanya.

Tinawanan niya ako.

"Do I look like one of them?"the man chuckled heartily. He had a jet black hair just like Klein's.

"Hindi! pero isa ka ba sa kanila? Don't play games with me?"umisod pa ako sa kanya.

"Ako ang pinuno ng lugar na ito. I am Reeve Andrews Philips. Iniligtas ka namin mula sa mga bandido"he extended a hand.

"Winter Green Evans here"tinangap ko ang kamay niya. Gwapo siya.

"How did you get in here? Are you spying us?"nagbago ang tono ng lalaki. Naging matalim ang mga mata niya sa akin.

"I know you don't trust me but I was commanded by my father to find and buy an empty lot. Nakahanap nga ako. But I secretly discovered this place. I got curious. Nilibot ko ang lugar na ito. Since nasa ilalim ito ng lupa and as we all know it the rest is history"I confessed at him.

Mukhang hindi siya naniniwala sa akin. Nilapitan niya ako.

"Now can I go home? Baka hinahanap na ako sa amin"pakuisap ko sa kanya. Hinawakan ko siya sa balikat.

Mukhang nagulat siya. He tried to compose himself.

"Hindi ka muna uuwi for now. We need to verify if your telling the truth. Mananatili ka muna sa pangangalaga namin"iniwan niya ako.

I feel stupid. Just because of my curiosity I got tangled into a problem I don't know how to handle.

Bago siya tuluyang makalabas. Tinawag ko siya.

"Thanks for saving me to all those thugs"I thankfully said to him.

"It was nothing"nawala siya sa kadiliman.

He reminded me of someone. Gumuhit ang panghihinayang sa puso ko. I was stupid not to trust him and let him explain.

Sa amerika na ako nag aral. After Klein and I sort of broke up, I tried to get on the first plane the next day.

Kasama ang daddy ko. Medisina ang kinuha ko. It was quite ironic that I was a doctor, when I couldn't heal the wounds of my past.

Hindi ko maibabalik ang lahat. I don't want to have regrets in my deathbed. I want to know the real reason why he chose Fleance over me.

Ilang araw pa lang kami ni daddy sa pilipinas. I had to fix some things which was left broken by me.

I was thinking to find Klein and get a closure but all of this fiasco happened and before I know I'm stuck here.

Natigil ang pag mumuni muni ko nang may kumatok mula sa labas.

Binuksan ko ang pinto. It was Reeve.

"Kakain na"pag bibigay alam niya.

Sumunod ako sa kanya. The whole edifice stood in a place near a garden. Cladestone vill looked like a normal place but more fresh and cleaner air than the world above.

Maganda at malaki ang bahay. It looked like a home away from home.

We sat at a luxurious dining table.

Masasarap ang mga pagkaing nakahain doon.

"Salamat sa pagkain"tiningnan ko siya. Kasama naming kumain ang isang tsinitang mukhang maangas.

Maganda rin siya. Palaging nakasukbit sa beywang niya ang katana.

She had a deadly aura. Naka traditional japanese costume rin siya.

Tahimik lamang siya sa pagkain.

Reeve started the conversation.

"Where's Kaori? Saga?"he asked while munching on his food.

"Probably been arranging some things and it includes the truth about this lady right here"patungkol ang usapan ng dalawa sa akin.

"Good"he continued munching his food.
