Chapter 20:Unexpected Threat

Vienesse POV

May nakahandang dart na gawa sa kahoy na nakapwesto sa pinakadulo. Ummikot ito ng pabilog.Kumuha ako ng piring. There were ten of it. The rules of the game was simple, I just need to hit the circle using my arrows. That would be hard for them, but not for me, it would be a breeze.

Piniringan ko ang mata. I memorized their places. Tinalasan ko ang pakiramdam. The air was heading north. Sabay sabay kong pinakawalan ang mga palaso.

Kinuha ko ang aking piring. Bull's eye, Sapol ang sampung dart.

Napabilib ko ang mga nanunuod. Maging ang may ari ng palaruan.

Umalis na kami. I didn't bother to get whatever the price is. I just have make a point. That your physical appearance isn't enough for them to tell that you are a weakling. First impressions aren't always accurate.

"You put quite a show there Vienesse"Hawak pa rin ni Klein ang kamay ko.

"People make stereotypes about everything and everyone. Mukha kasing mahina ang tingin ng may-ari ng palaruan sa mga tao rito. That would show him"Sabi ko kay Klein.

"You don't need to prove anything Vienesse! You showed enough"Palabas na kami ni Klein sa Amusement Park.

Then something buried deep in my flesh. A bullet.Sandali akong naghina. It was lased by poison. It made my vision blurry, for a few minutes.

Nakita kong bumunot ng baril si Klein. He aimed at the man at the Flying Boat. He pulled the trigger. Tinamaan ito.

Pinaupo niya ako. Napansin kong natumba ang lalaki. He was still alive. Kinaladkad siya ni Klein sa sasakyan. He tied him and put a gag on his mouth.

Saka niya ako inalalayan sa sasakyan.

"Okay ka lang?"Nag-aalalang tanong ni Klein sa akin.

Tumango ako.Saka niya pinaharurot ang sasakyan.

"We are not heading to the hospital. They could trail us, that would just complicate things"Hinubad ko ang jacket ko. Blood was gushing in my left arm. Manhid sa sakit ang kamay ko dahil sa bala. Then, pain went it. It was unbearable.

Humingi ako sa kanya ng First Aid Kit. He got a vial of morphine.

"What are you doing?"He looked incredulously at me. He pulled over.

"I need your help in getting this bullet out of my shoulder. I am starting to get weak. There have been an ample amount blood I have lost"Seryoso kong sabi sa kanya.

"Nagpapatawa ka ba?Hindi ako doctor okay?"Sinigawan niya ako, I can feel him tremble.

"Fine"Nagsmulang gumalaw ang kamay ko at hinawakan ang heringilya.

"Okay, ako na ang gagawa. Just tell me what I have to do"Medyo iritado pa rin ang tono ni Klein.

"Give me some morphine. Inject it right here"Nagsisimula na akong mang-hina. Itinuro ko sa kanya ang sugat ko. My eyes were getting blurry.

"What!?"Hindi makapaniwalang sabi niya sa akin. Mataas na ang tono niya.

"Do we need to argue on this one?'Mahina kong sabi.

He noticed I was getting weak. Kumuha siya ng cotton swab na may antiseptic at idinampi sa sugat ko.

"Now get the scalpel and make an insition na tama lang para makuha ang bala sa sugat ko"I instructed him.

Hindi na siya nagsalita. Kinuha niya ang scalpel at ginuhitan ng linya ang sugat ko. The pain was seering but it was tolerable. Gumuhit rin siya sa itaas.

"Now get some tweezers at bunutin mo ang bala"Kita sa mukha ko na mahina na ako.

Kumuha siya ng tweezers at sinubukang bunutin ang nakabaong bala sa sugat ko.

Klein's POV

Nang makuha ko iyon, agad na nakatulog si Vienesse. I found ang tread. It was the kind of tread used for operations that would melt in your skin. The doctors won't need to remove it.

I have been thankful because my car has a Medicine Kit.

Tinahi ko ang balat ni Vienesse, and wrapped it in a gauze.

Halos pinigilan kong huminga kanina. Natakot akong baka hindi ko yon magawa ng maayos.

Malapit na kami sa bahay ng mapansin ko ang pulang mercedez benz ni Andrew.

Binuhat ko papasok si Vienesse. Napansin kong kausap ni Mendev si Andrew.

"What happened to Vienesse?"Bakas sa mukha ni Andrew ang pag-aalala.

"She got a slight injury but she's gonna be fine. So what took you here?"Sabi ko sa kanya habang inilalapag sa sofa si Vienesse.

"Gusto ko sanang ibalik sa iyo ang Mayback Exelero mo total napanalunan naman iyon ni Vienesse. I guess there is not enough reason I should keep it"He said sincerely.

"Thanks. That car isn't just the most expensive car in the world. It has a sentimental value for me. It was a gift from my mom"Grateful kong sabi sa kanya.

He said his goodbye and walked out the door. Tinawag ko si Mendev. Abala siya sa paglilinis ng baril.

"I suggest you fetch the object back in my car"What I meant was the guy who shoot Vienesse, without realizing it's consequences. Now he's gonna meet his doom.

Ilang minuto ring nawala si Mendev. Kaagapay na nito ang lalaking bumaril kay Vienesse.

"Anong gagawin ko rito? And who is he?"Kunot ang noong tanong ni Mendev.

"Well, that man tried to kill Vienesse"Nagpumiglas ito. It was no use. He's gonna meet his doom one way or another, if he doesn't talk.
