Sugar- Clint- White Christmas

Clint pulled you close, resting your head under his chin. You could feel the thump of his pulse against your cheek- his hand tracing lazy circles in your hair. The only sound was the sound of water from a nearby river. You loved the bustle of Nee York- but you also loved the seclusion of Clint's farm. After all he had made it for you.

"It's snowing baby." Clint said softly, letting you go from his arms. He grabbed your hand, running his thumb over the diamond of your wedding ring. You'd only been married for about 6 months- but it felt like you had been married all your life.

Your first Christmas together wasn't going to be as perfect as it is in the movies. You'd decided to go with a fake tree after Clint almost broke the third axe you had bought  cutting down a sizable tree. The cookies were long gone, burnt and in the trash. At least the egg nog was good. But you had Clint- which honestly was all you needed.

Just you and Clint.

The snow covered the ground by next morning, a blanket of white creating a beautiful Christmas scene. The snow, unbroken laid perfectly over the ground, frost covering the top in small ice crystals. You couldn't help but take a picture. It was beautiful.

"It's funny, actually seeing the snow like this. Now in mounds on either side of the street. I'm sure Tony would love this." Clint said- busy making coffee.

"You should have invited them honey. They could use a break." You said looking back at him.

"That would be far too risky. All....how many of us? Like 13- in one house- we'd just be asking for an attack. I wold by want to put you in danger."

"Clint Barton I am very capable of taking care of myself." You said placing your hands in your hips.

"Oh I know- but I love you too much to make you do that." Clint said pulling you close, head resting below his chin.

"Clint?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

"I know."

"Clint?"

"Yeah?"

"You're full of shit."

"Yeah, I know....."
