"Come on summon you stupid gauntlets"
There was a faint glow but it quickly died down.
"Don't call your weapon stupid"
"Honestly Garnet, we've been working on summoning my weapon for at least 6 hours and look we've made no progress"

"Maybe they were right about me"
"What did they say"
"I'm a weak defect that can't do anything right"
Hot tears began to stream down my face as I was sobbing.
"And you know what Garnet...they were right..when..when I was 6 years old they took my family away, I didn't do anything but just sat there"
"I'm so weak...I let everyone down even you, I don't even understand why do you trust me or even why..I am even on the team"
I felt a warm hand on my shoulder which caused me to look up.
"I know that feeling when I first came to existence, I was confused and felt useless because-"

I clenched my gem that is in the palm of my hand concentrating.
"I'M GOING TO SHOW THEM HOW MUCH OF A DEFECT I AM"
My gem began to glow and my body felt heavier.
"I'LL MAKE SURE THEY PAY"
Just then my eyes went white for only a second then I had my gauntlets on both of my hands.
"Good Job Y/N I knew you could do it"
I cheered before I ran off and began hitting stuff.
I got tired after awhile and decided to sit down.
"So you got tired"
I gave Garnet a cheeky smile.
"I have something to show you"
I nodded before getting up.
"Close your eyes"
I closed my eyes and waited, that's when I felt a pair of lips on my cheek then an image flashed through my head.
It seemed like the past.
"Garnet take care of Y/N, show her she can be strong too"
Mom.
I opened my eyes and Garnet gave me a grin.
"She wanted you to be alive and she knew you were going to be strong"
