Amethyst and Peridot have a school project to do but they wait to the last minute to do it.

Peridot's P.o.v
"Amethyst there is no time to be fooling around, now help me you clod or it will take double the time" My voice rushed through my words quickly
"Wow Peri, I never heard you say clod in such a calm way" Amethyst said sarcastically
"DO I SOUND CA-wait Peri"
"Yeah it's a nickname"
"No one ever-" I groaned as the sentence flowed out my train of thought
Amethyst face changed from boredom to curiosity within seconds. She chuckled and got out her seat to walk to me.
"What's wrong Peri too flustered to speak" Amethyst's voice got deep and seductive
I didn't even bother to look straight when she was inches away from my lips.
I stared at her lips.
"Want this" She questioned
I slowly nodded.
She leaned closer and I closed my eyes in anticipation but then I heard giggling.
"Man Peri, you really thought I was going to kiss you"
"YOU CLOD, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT...uh just print out the documents I sent you" I said as I shoved printer paper in her hand just in case it wasn't any left
Amethyst left giggling.
This wasn't the first time she did this.
It won't be the last.
"She don't even know how it feels"
I continued working on the project.

Amethyst's P.o.v
I printed the documents that Peridot sent me.
"Hey I'm done"
I sat the papers next to her on the table.
"Good, now help me with this part and we will be done"
"Hey Peri"
"What"
"You seem a little on edge today"
"Don't you mean tonight"
"Oh y-"
"Oh yeah, dont give me that cheap crap"
"I'm trying as hard as you"
"I am doing most of the work not you"
"Peridot"
"For the last time what do you want"
"It's 4 o'clock in the morning and you have way too many bags on your eyes"
"So"
"Go to sleep, you need it"
"Why do you care"
"Cause I care about you"
"Stop playing with my emotions" Peridot said in a low growl
"I'm serious, can't you see that"
Peridot thought for a moment then agreed.
"Give me a couple of hours and I'll be okay"
Once Peridot walked away, I sat down where she was formally working at.
"Okay, now what did she write down"
I peered down at the board and saw a stack of papers sitting on top of it.
"Man couldn't she make it easier for me"

Epilogue
Peridot woke up to Amethyst snoring.
"I knew I couldn't trust her one bit"
She ran to the board to find it finished and neat with the research paper stapled right in the middle of it.
Peridot stared in awe.
A grin appeared on her face as she quickly got ready for the day after asking her mom to drop her off at school.
"Mom can you assist me with this board"
"Sure what got you in a cheery mood"
"Nothing"
Peridot picked up Amethyst while her mom had the board and other materials.
If only they knew.
