Hermione's POV

I wake earlier than everyone else in my dorm. I quickly dress and collect my things needed for my classes today. I leave the room as I hear one of the others stir. I rush down to the common room and hurry to the library trying to catch up on some studying before breakfast.

Draco's POV

I wake up to a loud noise and sit up in bed. Out of curiosity I pull back my curtain and look over to see Harry on the ground. I can't help but chuckle and make a remark. "Is the floor a good cuddler, Potter?"

He shoots a glare in my direction before standing up and grabbing his new robes, walking into our shared bathroom. I roll my eyes as I gather my own Ravenclaw robes. I showered before I went to sleep last night so I just throw on my clothes in the room.

I hear the shower start and wait fifteen minutes before Harry comes out fully dressed. I walk into the bathroom to fix my hair and brush my teeth. I glance at the time and realize that breakfast starts in ten minutes. I finish getting my stuff around and wave to the raven haired boy before walking out by myself.

Hermione's POV

Time got away from me. I don't know if I can make it. I am practically running to history of magic. I have exactly three minutes before class starts. I have never been late to a class.

I make it just in time and take the last available seat, in between Harry and Pansy. Harry looks at me apologetically before leaning towards me and whispering,

"I was gonna have you sit on my left next to Luna but a specific git," he paused to glare at Malfoy, who was sitting on his left smirking. "ruined that." he said through gritted teeth. I assure him that I will be fine and then begin to take notes on what Professor Binns is teaching.

Draco's POV

As free period begins most of the Ravenclaws head towards the library or the grounds. I however make a turn and walk towards the Headmistress' office. I mumble the password and step onto the staircase allowing it to move me towards the door slowly.

When I make it to the top I knock three times and wait for a response. I walk in after receiving a, "Come in," from Professor McGonagall. She smiles at me when I enter and asks if I would like her to step out. I nod and say thank you as she walks out.

I move around the desk and sit on her chair staring up at my former Potions teacher. He looks back at me and I see the edge of his lips curl slightly before his usual scowl returns. "Hello Draco. How are you doing? Those are some nice robes." My godfather states looking at the Ravenclaw crest.

I smile sheepishly before replying, "I am doing well. As you can tell, I was resorted."

The conversation continued into my new house and my roommate. He questioned me on how I felt sharing a room with my enemy and I explained that we weren't exactly enemies anymore. He asked about Harry's health and I told him all I had learned. I sat there for nearly an hour catching up with Snape.

By the time I left the office I felt relieved and less worried. I hurried to my next class, potions coincidentally, and sat next to Potter again, much to his annoyance.

A/N: I added in the little part about Snape as sort of a tribute to Alan Rickman. I am sorry if this is a bad chapter, I was in a rush as I pushed it off until now. I hope it isn't too horrible. I guess that is all. ~Aly
