12|Family Feast

Jermaine yells upstairs "Breaunna, Janet let's go! You two are gonna make us late!"

"Coming!" They sing at the same time.

"Thank you!" He snaps, frustrated with the duo.

Janet speaks as she and Breaunna come down two different sides of the grand staircase. "Baby relax, we're only going to LA for this dinner party Mother is throwing. You seem so uptight."

"Oh! I forgot Lannie! Can I go get her please?!"

"Hurry up and get her..." Breaunna runs up to her room. "Why does she always fly with the thing anyway?"

"Since those Pillow Pets came out I don't have to travel with a regular pillow for her and it's easy for her to carry and besides that Mother bought it for her and she's been attached ever since."

"Okay, I'm ready!" She comes to a stop next to Janet.

"Good, let's hit the road!" Jermaine says happy to be making progress.

"You are really excited about this..." Janet says knowing that he's been to these thing a few times before so it wasn't nerves.

Jermaine really was excited, Breaunna had only almost told once and he caught her just in time. The weekend was finally here and in just a few days he was going to ask Janet to marry him. What was really getting to him was the fact that Janet had been married before and divorce was the end result. She'd always say how she felt like a jinx with marriage and she wasn't sure marriage was for her.

"Breaunna you remember your airport rules right?" Janet quizzes her one more time.

"Yip." She starts reciting and counting on her fingers. "Always hold someone's hand. Don't talk to the paparazzi." She touches another finger knowing she'd forgotten something.

"And who keeps track of Lannie?" Janet helps her out.

"I do. Can we go to grandma's house when we land?"

"I don't see why not... If they're home we can go but if they aren't there we are going to go home first." Jermaine does what she wants, as usual.

"You just can't wait to see Octavia can you?" Janet says, knowing the answer already.

"A rabbit is the reason you want to go over to your grandma's right away?"

"That and the chocolate chip cookies she always makes for me!"

Janet chuckles, "She's just so honest it's adorable. Bumble Bee, the rabbit isn't going anywhere and Mother is ALWAYS going to have chocolate chip cookies just for you since you don't eat any of her other ones... We don't have to go expressly for that reason so you may have to wait a while before we go."

"Okay." She says sadly about possibly having to wait.

Jermaine, Janet, and Breaunna disembark their flight along with security and head to the baggage claim area. Janet carries a sleeping Breaunna out to the car after they get their bags.

Jermaine looks at Breaunna, "She wanted to go over to your mothers and she's asleep and doesn't even know we landed."

"I knew she'd go to sleep, we woke up early and she stayed up til 1:30."

"Are we all still going to Sky Zone later?" Jermaine asks taking advantage of the curious Breaunna being asleep.

Janet yawns, "mhmm after dinner. There are so many of us, those people aren't gonna know what to do... "

When they got to the house Janet took Breaunna up to her room, put her in her bed and put a fleece blanket over her. Making her way back to the car, Janet noticed the paparazzi sitting on the wall.

"We've got company already..." Slightly nodding in their direction.

Sighing, "This is going to be an interesting weekend..."

"Can you hand me the bag with Bre's dress? I need to go hang these things up for Danielle."

"There you go." He hands her the bag.

"I heard that we're going to Sky Zone after this," Prince whispers to the other kids.

Breaunna, lost asks, "What's that?"

"It's this place with a bunch of trampolines and stuff to play on. You're gonna like it a lot." He whispers to Breaunna, "Come on, let's go play with Octavia."

As they get up to leave another cousin asks, "Where are you two going?"

"None of your business, Cayla!" Breaunna tells her; not wanting her to follow them.

"I'm gonna tell your mom..." She threatens.

"Well go ahead." She tells Cayla before turning back to Blanket. "Lead the way."

"Aren't you gonna get in trouble?" Blanket asks.

"Probably not..."

"Aunt Janet?"

"What's wrong Cayla?"

"Breaunna and Blanket won't let me play with them... They were going somewhere and she told me it wasn't my business where they're going." She pouted.

"Sweetie, they probably went to go play with Octavia but it's okay if they don't want to play with you. You have a lot of other cousins to play with."

"Okay." She said disappointed that Breaunna and Blanket didn't get in trouble. "Prince said we're going to Sky Zone... Is that true?"

"I have no idea, Cayla."

"Okay." She said, deciding that Prince must've lied.

Randy looks at Janet, "Why didn't you tell her the truth?"

"You really want all of them down here asking when we're leaving? And when I say all I mean the older kids as well. "

"You're right, I didn't think about that," he said while shaking his head.

"We're leaving in twenty minutes so we all need to figure out how many people we can fit." Pointing between himself and Janet Jermaine adds. "We can hold three more. "

"I can take four," Randy announced.

"Austin, Taj, Genevieve, and Stevanna come over here," Janet calls them.

When they all get close Randy lets them know whats going on. "We are trying to figure out how to cart these kids to Sky Zone... How many of them can your cars carry?"

Genevieve says, " Stevanna and I can both carry three people."

"I can hold five," Taj replies right as Austin says he can carry four of them.

"That's more than enough space cause there aren't that many of them... It's going to take them a while to decide who's going to drive with who so I guess it's safe to tell 'em..." Janet tells everybody.

They all got in the cars and made their way over to Sky Zone. The kids as fun and the adults hoped they all slept in in the morning. Tomorrow was going to be a big day for all of them and hopefully a VERY special day for three of them...
