Chapter 31~

That evening at home, Lyn had just finished taking a shower. She changed into her PJ. She was about to hop into bed when her phone rang. She checked the caller ID and it was Ian. She picked it immediately

"Hey Ian!" She said

"Are you at home" Ian asked immediately

"Yea why?"

"OK meet me out for a while" he told her

"Sure thing" she ended the call, dropping her phone. She grabbed a coat and ran out of the room. On her way out, she met Neal.

"Where are you going?" He asked

"Just outside"

"Why?"

"To see someone" she said

"Who?" Neal insisted

"What the hell! Stop being nosy you're not my mum. Now move" she shoved him and ran off.

She ran out the gate and saw Ian's car parked at the other end. She ran towards that direction

"Sorry" she said half panting "Neal was holding me up"

"That's ok" he said with a little frown

"Won't you come in, its a little cold out here"

"Nope I'm fine. I'm not staying that long"

"Hmm" she nodded and gave him a suspicious look

"What's up with you and Neal? Are you guys in some kind of fight?"

"Sort of"

"Why? What happened?"

"You happened" Ian said immediately causing Lyn to be surprised wondering what he was talking about. She kinda guessed that both of then haven't been on each other's friendly side but it never occurred to her that it would be because of her.

"Why me?"

"He acts like a jerk towards you and I didn't like it at all, I got overprotective over you"

"He's not that bad anymore, he takes care of me now. And why do you get overprotective, its not like you're my elder brother or something. Why? Do you like me" she asked the last question not being serious at all but then Ian replied

"Yes I do, a lot"

She shot him an amazed expression she was totally joking when she asked the question and wasn't expecting any serious answer. Where the hell did that come from. She didn't say anything, she just stared at him. How could Ian Elmer like her, she always saw him as a great protective friend but not as a boyfriend. Wait! Where was this leading to maybe she should just chill a bit.

"I like you Lyn. I really do and I came here to tell you that. I know you see me as a Playboy but trust me I'm really sincere on this one"

Lyn didn't say anything, she kept on staring at him.

"Lyn say something" Ian pleaded. Lyn came out of her reverie and ran her hands through her damp hair.

"You can't be serious" she managed to say

"I am, I really like you. I want you to be my girlfriend. I want to show you to my mother. I don't expect an answer from you now, maybe later when you're ready"

Lyn barely nodded still shocked from the electricity of surprise. Just then Ian pulled her close and whispered in her ears

"I love you" he wanted to kiss her but held himself from doing so, saving it for the time she was officially his, but instead he kissed her forehead and he quickly entered his car while Lyn stood there practically fixed to the ground

"What just happened" she asked herself replaying the whole scene in her head and she still couldn't believe it.

Meanwhile Neal was glistening in anger as he watched Ian kiss Lyn on her head. He had already taken Lyn as his and was still waiting for the perfect time that he'll ask her out and until then no one was allowed to touch her. But that wasn't the part that got him angry. It was the fact that Ian was a step ahead of him, Ian confessed to her first. If both of them weren't lost siblings Ian would have gotten her first while he watched from the side walk. That was impossible.

He left the balcony almost the same time Lyn was coming in. She still had a dazed expression on her face and it was making Neal mad. He was supposed to be the making her look like that not her unknown elder brother and he was going to change all that now. Neal walked quickly towards her, cupping her face in his hands he pulled her face closer to his

I finally updated... I had to skip my sleeping time because I promised to update.

Sorry about the lame chapters, they are just filler chapters, better chapters are packed ahead. Anyways enjoy till I update again which would be very soon.
