Sweet Silent Night.

"Here.", Cain said, walking back in his room with a glass of ice cold water. I stood in the middle of his room, shivering my butt off. But I didn't hesitate as I took it with both my shaky hands and gulped the whole thing done. You know how you have to put some water in a car when it's over heated? Well, that's how my whole body feels, especially my throat.

On my last gulp, I finally breathed since I was practically more focused on drink the nice cold water that I forgot to breath. I was pretty much panting. At least I wasn't thirsty as much anymore.

I didn't notice Cain was over at his dresser until he closed the top drawer holding a black shirt and black boxers. "Here, D.", he said, handing me the shirt and boxer. "I'll go grab you a towel and some bandages, that cut looks nasty.", he said, put his hands on my chin and lifting it up to get a better look. I winced at the sting. "Sorry. Get change into these while I'm gone.",

"Thanks.", I grumbled as he walked out and closed the door behind him. I took off my soaked shirt and shorts. My throat is starting to hurt and it was bugging me. I decided to leave my bra on since I felt weird without it and it wasn't that soak up like my shirt and shorts. I slipped on the shirt the was just a little baggy and the boxers.

I sat on Cain bed and Cain walked back with a dark blue towel with a tissue box, rubbing alcohol , tape,and large gauze aids. He sat down next to and took my chin again, "Are you going to tell me what happen now?", he asked as he moved his hand to my chin and grabbed the rubbing alcohol and a tissue.

I looked over his door and it was shut. Good, I did not want his mother and her friends to hear. I sigh dramatically, "I didn't tell you the whole story earlier, Cain.",

"What do you mean?", he asked.

"I mean, ever since I came back, I been getting stalked--Ow!", I hissed and winced as he pressed the soaked tissue against my cut and I moved away.

"Sorry, Dorinda. But stay still or it's going to get infected.", he said, taking my arm and brought me back to where I was sitting before.

I winced and hissed as he pressed and rubbed the cut. As he was putting the gauze band aid under my chin, I said, "You know, I could have done this myself.",

"Yeah," he grinned, "but I don't mind. Hey--I said stay still!", he fust as the gauze touched my chin and the sting hit me again. "Go on now, finish.",

After he tapped the gauze, I continued, "Five weeks ago, I been having this feeling someone is stalking me, like I said. Well, it turns out this person is a vampire from Lucas's world. See, this vampire girl name Emma, will, she went kind a crazy when Lucas pretty much choose me over her. Emma was a real bitch though.", I said. "She was crazy and obsessed with wanting to become Queen. She never wanted Lucas, she just wanted the title. She found out Lucas loved me and she went crazy, kidnapped his worker, and," I took a deep breath before whispering her name, "Kayla.",

Cain froze, "As in, your best friend who is still missing? Kayla Miller?",

"Yeah, but that's the thing, she isn't missing.", I said. I took the towel and rubbed my face with it and started to towel dry my hair. "She's a--she's a vampire.". I couldn't look at him when I said it. I felt ashamed.

Awkward silence filled the room. I didn't know what to say actually. I guess Cain couldn't either cause he was just looking at the ceiling. I was getting a little tired and all the running just made my body feel like jell-o.

"So what happen later?", Cain asked.

"Lucas worker were pixies. There are many different type of species. There are vampires, werewolves, angels, mermaids, pixies, and than their us--well, me, humans.", I akwardly said. "Emma left two pixies to tell Lucas what happen. I was with Lucas at the time cause something happen two nights before with me and Emma and I had to be 'watch' over by Lucas. Anyways, they came and found us. They told us what happen and I found out she took Kayla.
