One month later...

Lucas-

"Are you sure you want to do this?", Kayla asked me. She was standing in front of me as we were stood in my office.

"I been waiting for this day for such a long time. I'm not going to miss my chances again. I'm just hoping she'll still agree.", I said, trying to fix my stupid tie.

Kayla groaned as she stepped forward and took the tie out of my hands and started doing it for me, "Okay, Lucas, I can't stop you. But-", she said serious and she tighten the tie around my neck dangerously, "you ever hurt her again, I'll make sure the pain comes back ten times hard for you.",

I swallowed the heavy lump in my throat as I stared down at her and she had that serious look on her face, "I promise I wont, Kayla.",

She smiled and loosen the tie, "Good.", she said, finishing the tie up and she patted my chest when she was done, "Well, don't you look handsome?", she said, taking a step back and put her hands on her hips, "Yup, I'm defiantly a genius.",

"I can't believe this gatherings aren't causal.", I said, rolling up the sleeves a little.

She rolled her eyes, "That's cause the Ball is very important at night. It's mostly dancing to music and everything is set up beautifully.", she said, looking off as she went into memory, "Last year the theme was under the sea and everyone was had such a good time.",

My door opened and Cain walked in, "You two ready?" he asked.

"Yes.", Kayla said, smoothing her black strapless dance out, "Cain, you sure you want to do this?", she asked him this time.

He took a deep sigh, "Yes, I have thought about it long and hard, I'm ready. I'm not going to be scared--upset maybe--but I'll get over it sooner or later.",

"Okay.", she said, looking down at her watch, "It'll be night time on Earth in an hour. Did you talk to your father, Lucas?",

"Yes.", I told her, "He said he's going to talk to her first while I'll talk to her parents.", They both nodded their heads.

I'm hope she takes me back.

Meanwhile...

Dorinda-

You want to know what's one good thing about living in a small town? The Summer Ball and fair. The Ball is at the high school football field where dancing and music is and going all around are games and rides. It's fun...if you had someone to go with.

But thankfully for me, I decided to help out organize everything. Three weeks ago I went to the meeting for helping out since I thought it would give me something to do and it did. I had my mind on other stuff other then Lucas and what happened a month ago.

People everywhere thought it was a lie and a scam, but after seeing different species come out of portals, oh man, did they ever believe. Of course everyone was afraid, but now they aren't. Vampires, werewolves, and the other kinds were surprised their Royal family admitted the truth to Earth and decided to give us human another try.

The world was different now.

Some people hate that fact and some people love it. Of course girls love that fact that vampires or werewolves exist and tired to hook up with them, but the vampires and werewolves wouldn't go that far I guess cause they were order not to have sexual relationship with humans, but that didn't stop them from flirting.

Guys loved every female from each world since the girls were beautiful, but the same rules went for the guys. No sexual relationship, only flirting.
