Chapter Twenty-Four-That Day

When Mikasa and Carla got back home Mikasa was surprised that the house is quiet "so i heard you draw so i got you this" Carla said handing Mikasa a drawing book "thank you" Mikasa said sitting at the table "i saw what you drew before and i thought it was really pretty we had never seen an artist in a long time" Carla said looking at Mikasa who was drawings a flower bed, after a while Eren and Armin got home Eren saw Mikasa drawing and he looked at his mom who smiled at him "well lunch will be done soon Mikasa want to help" Carla said looking at Mikasa who closed the drawing book and got up and Armin grabbed the book and they went up stairs "so what do you like drawing Mikasa" Carla said watching Mikasa cut the fruits "well flowers and the nature that is all" Mikasa said smiling at Carla Mikasa said looking at Eren and Eren hugged Mikasa "thank you" Eren said getting up and walking over to his father and Carla shut the door and walked over to Mikasa who was crying "what did he do to you" Carla said looking at Mikasa holding her ripped shirt "he did this and started to touch me weird" Mikasa said looking at Carla and Carla hugged Mikasa "you will be ok you want to talk to me while Eren is getting his cuts ok" Carla said looking at Mikasa and Mikasa nodded and they walked out of the room and walked into the living room and Carla gave her a seed pack "it is a cherry blossom tree that you can plant and keep it in Eren and your room, and we are getting rid of your bed and letting you and Eren do whatever you want with the room" Carla said handing Mikasa and plant bowl and the pack of seeds and Mikasa looked at her and started to cry Grisha came down stairs with Eren behind him and Carla walked over to Mikasa "is something your parents wanted to do with you" Carla said After a while Mikasa and Eren heard the sirens Eren looked at Mikasa who was sitting on the window bed holding the scarf in her hand and crying Eren walked over to her and looked at her "i am sorry that i could not protect you" Eren said walking away from Mikasa and walked over the plant and sat by it and looked at it the little growing but they heard a knock on his door Eren walked over to the door and opened the door to see a police standing there "can we talk to Mikasa" they said and Eren pointed to the window bed and they walked over to her, when they were done talking to her Mikasa walked down stairs and saw Eren sitting on the couch holding the picture and crying she looked at Eren and let a tear out "i am sorry Eren i should have told you when i was dizzy" Mikasa said looking at Eren from the stairs and Eren looked at her and smiled "you are ok right" Eren said getting up and walking over to the stairs "ya i guess just my side hurts that's all" Mikasa said fixing the blanket around her Eren looked at Mikasa and smiled and hugged her "i wanted to be your side but i kept being kept back and i just wanted to know that you were safe and i could hold you again" Eren said looking at Mikasa who had started to cry "something the matter" Eren said looking down at Mikasa "no it is nothing" Mikasa said looking away "if there is anything bothering you you can tell me you know that right"Eren said looking letting go of Mikasa "ya but why does every thing happens to me and the people i care about" Mikasa said running up the rest of the stairs and ran into Eren and her room and shut the door Eren walked over to his parents room and told them what happened and Carla got up and walked over to Mikasa and Eren room "hey Mikasa it's me can i come in" Carla said knocking on the door "just i want to talk to someone about something" Mikasa said and Carla opened the door and closed it Carla walked over to Mikasa and she sat kneeled in front of her "what does everything bad happen in my" Mikasa said crying and Carla looked at her "hey do not say that we all love you especially Eren and we are lucky to take care of you" Carla said looking at Grisha who came into the room "hey do not start blaming anything on yourself because you have done nothing wrong" Grisha said putting his one of his hand on Mikasa shoulder "but what if you guys dies like my parents" Mikasa said crying Carla and Grisha looked at each other and nodded "want Eren to come and be by you" Grisha said looking at the door "yes" Mikasa said quietly and Grisha walked over to the door when he opened the door Eren walked over to Mikasa and hugged her "you are safe just remember that Mikasa" Eren said starting to cry and Mikasa eye widened "i am sorry i should have told you guys what i was telling myself" Mikasa said smiling at Carla and Grisha and they smiled back Mikasa looked at Eren and Mikasa kissed him "thank you for being next to me all the time i was upset, angry, and said " Mikasa said smiling and holding her scarf and Eren smiled and hugged her "well we can talk in the morning and we can spend tomorrow playing games" Carla said looking at Eren "night mom" Eren said and Mikasa lied down holding the blanket covering her and she felt Eren move closer to her "thank you for what you said, it made me feel special" Eren said looking at Mikasa in her eyes "you're welcome" Mikasa said smiling at Eren and he started to blush "night Eren" Mikasa said looking out the window.
