511. There are two versions of the theme song, one with English and one with Japanese lyrics. A voice actor revealed that when the Japanese version is played, the episode will be 'silly' and provide comic relief, while the English version means the episode will be more serious.

517. Many parts of the series are inspired by the anime FLCL, most of all the animation style. The most repeated reference is Beast Boy's love of mopeds - a Vespa motor scooter belongs to Haruhara Haruko, the female lead in FLCL.
