After Violet and Harry both stormed out of the room with new founded heartbreak, I was left alone, and incredibly speechless.

Though I wasn't as excited as I thought I would be. The wedding was a mess, yet I couldn't find it in me to be happy about it. Knowing that Harry was somewhere alone and more hurt than ever before pained me. Though it wasn't my fault, I couldn't help but feel responsible.

I bent down slowly to pick up the broken necklace and sighed placing it in my purse. It had too much value to me to just throw away; it represented an entire friendship.

I slowly look around the empty room that was once filled with so much excitement and joy, but now was filled with sorrow. I exit quickly no longer wanted to be around it.

Elyse noticed me coming outside the room. Her eyes were wide and concerned. She must have seen what had just happened.

She tugged at my arm pulling me away from the center of the hall and stared at me, waiting for answers.

"What?" I shrugged innocently.

"What?" She repeated her mouth agape. "Please tell me what the hell just happened in there?"

"Harry found out the truth about Violet."

"He's supposed to be standing at the end of that alter in twenty minutes and you're telling me that the truth was just exposed." She pointed toward the room where everyone was excitedly waiting to see two people they care about marry.

"Uh...yeah," I sighed looking away.

I couldn't help but feel ashamed. If I never went into Violet's room, he wouldn't have found out and they could go with their lives happily ever after.

But part of me didn't feel ashamed. He needed to know the truth, or else he would be married to someone he didn't really know.

"You bitch." I heard someone spit from the other end of the hall.

"I think I'm going to vomit." I said my whole body becoming immobile in fear.

"I'm out," Elyse stated her face dropped and she turned on her heals and walked away.

I turned around, pulling my shoulders back and holding my confidence strong.

"I hope you're happy." I heard a sob and then saw Violet quickly walking over to me. Her face looked drained, and her eyes puffy. "The wedding's off. And it's your fault."

"My fault?" I repeated in astonishment placing my hand gently on my chest. "If you're looking for sympathy, the last person you should find it from is me." I looked at her, no longer feeling fear, or guilt, or humiliation

She gasped and began to say something, but was interrupted before she could say anything else.

"Have a nice life...bitch." I quickly turned on my heal walking away from her jaw dropped expression.

I felt a new sense of accomplishment, one that's not received in doing good work, but instead when you've changed into the person you've always aspired to be. For me it was always someone who didn't want to be pushed around, someone who had confidence when putting their mind to something, someone who was fearless.

And that's who I was today.

I noticed Niall standing in the doorway. He was obviously having a difficult time hiding his smile as a small laugh escaped from his lips.

I walked over towards him, he held his hand up for a high five, but instead I wrapped my arms around his chest. He was taken by surprise but then quickly reacted and held me.

"I can't believe I just did that." I stated in disbelief.

"I'm proud of you," he whispered pulling me back so he could look at me.

"That felt good." I confessed my smile growing wider.

"That was brilliant," Niall agreed smiling as well.

We both stood there for a while, just grinning at each other.

"He's gone." Someone sobbed. I quickly turned my head toward Anne, my mum, and Gemma following behind her.

"What?" I gasped walking toward her, immediately wrapping my arms around her.

"Harry, he's gone." Anne whispered shaking her head holding me tightly.

"What do you mean he's gone?" I inquired becoming nervous as I let go to look up at her.

"He ran off, I'm not sure where he went to."

I knew.

But why wasn't I speaking up?

Anne was in hysteric tears, yet I couldn't find myself saying that I knew where Harry was, and that he was safe. For all she knew he could be anywhere, but really he was at our secret escape, our own hideaway.

"I think I have a pretty good idea," I finally said and saw relief fall upon each of their faces. "Mum, may I borrow your car keys?" I asked pleadingly.

My mum immediately reached into her purse to fish out the keys and handed them to me, no questions asked.

I began to walk past them.

"Should we go with you?" I heard Anne call after me, and I stopped walking but didn't turn around to face them.

"I think I should go by myself, if that's alright." I stated exhaling in the process.

I then continued walking out of the church feeling rather nervous about confronting Harry about everything that just happened. It was a lot for me to really take in, so I can't even imagine how it was for him.

"You go get him girl!" Gemma shouted from behind me as I walked through the doors and continued to my mother's car.
