apologise

c'mon, guys. if you hurt someone, it costs nothing and takes 2 seconds to apologise. just say sorry. this has been a psa.

i will not fucking say sorry when you're the one who hurt me,
i will not say sorry for 'getting in your way'
i will not say sorry for having a different fucking opinion from you,
i will not say sorry for believing in different things from you,
i won't say sorry when i tell you i like boys and girls,
although i itch to,
but i stop myself,
i take a deep breath,
and just as you're about to say that i'm going to hell, that god hates me,
i blurt,
i'm my own person, fucking deal with it.
you look shocked, but before you can yell at me,
before i can say sorry,
i turn away,
i walk away,
because i'm fucking sick of sorries when it wasn't my fault,
but i will say sorry if i ever hurt you,
slam you against the wall,
walk into you,
if i ever yell at you,
because no matter how much of a bitch you are to me,
i should, i must apologise when i hurt you,
as should you, but you don't, and you never will.
