I woke up around 10 in the morning and noticed Stephen was gone. I yawned and stretched before getting up to go downstairs. Tasha was downstairs cooking and watching tv.

"Good morning", I said

"Morning", she said lookin at me

"Have you seen Stephen?"

"No, he's not here?"

"No, I woke up and he wasn't there"

"Did you try calling him?"

"Not yet. I'll be right back", I said walking upstairs

I went upstairs to grab my phone to call Stephen. I called him 2 times and both times no answer.

I put my phone down then went back downstairs.

"He didn't answer", I said

"He should be okay, did they say they had practice today?"

"They have a game tonight, but Stephen didn't say anything about shootaround or practice being today"

"Just think positive. Maybe he went to buy you something for a surprise", she said getting 2 plates from the cabinet

"What did you cook?", I asked

"Bacon, scrambled eggs, and a biscuit", she said plating our food

"Thanks. What do you want to drink?", I said getting 2 cups

"Orange juice"

I grabbed the orange juice and poured some into both our glasses then put it back. I brought out glasses to the table and sat down while she brought our food.

"Thanks T", I said grabbing my plate

"No problem", she said sitting down

"So..", I said taking a bite of my eggs.."Are you thinking about going back to Klay?"

"No"

"Mmm", I said eating a piece of bacon

"Why do you ask that?", she said biting her biscuit

"You have a habit of going back to your Ex's after they hurt you"

"No I don't"

"Craige?", I said

"Don't bring him up", she said rolling her eyes

"I'm just saying"

"I'm thinking about it, I love Klay..a lot, but after seeing him having sex with.."

She stopped and started tearing up. She sniffed and wiped her eyes. "I really don't wanna bring up this subject anymore"

"Alright we don't have too, but...I'm going to the game tonight. Are you coming with meee?"

"No, I'm not ready to see Klay yet. Everytime I think of him, that whole night replays in my head"

"It's fine, I just don't wanna leave you by yourself"

"I'll go with mom"

"Alright"

The front door opened and closed again.

"I smell food", Stephen came walking in

"Where the hell were you at?"

"No where baby", he said kissing me
