Since I found out Klay was dating Hannah, he hasn't been texting me anymore. I'm meeting with my dad today for lunch since I haven't seen him in a while and that's where I am now. I looked up from my phone and seen him walk in.

"Dad", I called out

He looked at me and walked over to me. I stood up and hugged him before sitting back down.

"How are you?", he asked sitting down

"Good, how are you?"

"I'm good. You look better then when I seen you at the hospital"

"Yeah sorry I haven't called you. There's been a lot of stuff that's been happening"

"Does it have to do with Klay?"

"That's one thing I forgot to tell you about Huh?"

"Yup"

I chuckled. "Well, Klay and I aren't together anymore..Soo"

"Oh? What happened?"

"Just...didn't work out"

"Just didn't work out? Really.."

I could tell he knew I was lying. But I'm just gonna continue to go with it. I don't want my dad doing anything to Klay he'll regret if he finds out Klay cheated on me twice.

"Yes really..how's your love life going?", I said switching the subject

"Well..I'm still single", he said chuckling

"Are you even looking for a lady?"

"I do sometimes. That's not the biggest thing on my mind right now"

"Mm", I said nodding

My dad moved his head behind me and started squinting his eyes.

"What?", I said

"Isn't that Klay behind you?"

I turned around slowly and seen Klay sitting down at a booth with Hannah.

"Dang", I said turning back around quickly

"Hi my name is Kyrie and I'll be your waiter for today, Can I get you guys started with some drinks?", he said

"I'll take a Pepsi", I said

"Okay, and for you sir?"

"Uh..Ill just take a water"

"Alright I'll be right back", he said walking away

"Damn", I mumbled watching him leave

"Excuse me?", my dad said

I looked back at him and chuckled. "Nothing"

"So I'm guessing you and Klay aren't on speaking terms?"

"Nah.."

"Well they both just stared over here..can he tell the back of your head?"

"No. He probably recognizes your face", I said laughing

"I've never met him before"

"He's seen pictures"

"Oh", he said nodding

After a while Kyrie came back with our drinks.
