Chapter 2: The move

~Chapter Two~

"Laila, wake up, we're here!"

I feel something nudging me slightly, I open my eyes to see my mum.

"Hey sleepy head, you slept the whole car journey."

I mumble and hop out of the car. The sun is so bright on my tired heavy eyes.

I follow mum with a few boxes as she guides me up the 'new house' path.

This house is cosy, not too big or to small, just cosy. I drop the boxes down to check my phone.

*1 new message from Harry*

"Hey babe, I'm missing you, I haven't heard from you all day. Is everything ok?"

I type in a short sentence to reply saying I love him and it's been busy moving to the new house. I gather up my boxes and walk upstairs to my room.

The first thing that I needed to do here in Brighton is to find a job!
