Hunter Thorn;

I couldn't sleep that night. I was tossing and turning and rolling around in bed, trying to get Laura's words out of my head. I had never seen her like this before, so angry and honest. She was a quiet person, there were not many things that got her worked up like this.

I thought about her words more than I probably should have, but it was hard not to. She was my best friend and concerned, assuming the worst and wanting to prevent it from happening to me.

I was relieved when I woke up in the morning and tried to get my mind off things by taking a shower and doing my make-up, which I almost never did but it was distracting me from thinking too much.

However, the peace didn't hold on for too long. I suddenly heard the door downstairs slam and shouting. Knowing that if Lucas could say anything to me right now it would be for me to stay in the room, but I sprinted down the stairs, only to find two men holding Sara by her neck, pointing a gun towards her head and Lucas standing in front of them, breathing hard.

"Let go of her, she has nothing to do with this." Lucas' voice was stern, but I could tell he was nervous. They all had yet to see me, but I wanted to wait a little longer before I stepped to them.

"Not so tough now, are we Thorn?" The man with the tattoo clad arm spoke with a fiendish smirk on his face.

"She has nothing to do with me or anything, you can leave her out of this." Lucas went to move forward which only resulted the men to grip Sara's neck tighter and press the gun to her head, I almost feared they would push it through her head any second.

"Stay where you are. We have a few things to ask you. You answer them and she is free. You don't and I put a bullet through her head." The other man said, his accent different. He was not from here and the way he looked like just confirmed my assumption.

My heart was beating so loudly, I thought it was going to explode any second. I was not sure whether to step out or not, but decided against it since my appearance would cause more trouble than not.

"Ask me then." Lucas sighed, knowing there was no other way out of this.

"What is Clyde up to and what is he planning as his next move?"

"How would I know?" Lucas spat.

"A bird told us you and him have an agreement."

Oh no.

Yes, I wanted to tell Justin, but I forgot about it as soon as Laura came over. So it had to have been someone else.

"Who told you that?"

"I was commanded not to say any name or anything that could help you catch the person." One of them said and Sara suddenly coughed, trying to pry his hands off her neck. She was too weak.

"And who sent you?"

"We are Bieber's men." The one with the odd accent said and I had to hold back a gasp. I know Justin told me he had to deal with Clyde before he had to deal with my brother, but I hadn't expected him to still send his men into district three to threaten Lucas.

"Then you shouldn't be here." Lucas spat, balling his fists.

"We want answers and you should give them to us right now, I think your girlfriend here is struggling with breathing." He squeezed Sara's neck and she let a few tears slip past her eyes.
