Chapter 4 – Food of the night
Giselle, Nathan and Jasmine walked across the green campus happily. There were several dramatic pauses only for them to stare at each other in awe. Finally, after several long days, they were together again as a team. It was slightly awkward, and took some adjusting due to the fact that Giselle had just witnessed them having sex and the fact that Zoey was missing. It was almost as if there was a whole in the ground they were constantly tripping over. They’d laugh, smile and joke and then remember that if Zoey was here, She’d be enjoying herself too.
The very cold campus reminded them that Christmas was soon to come along. They were no longer enjoying the spring weather that filled the air. Soon, it would be holiday season. However, this also was very sad.
Zoey wouldn’t be around to celebrate.
“So what do you thinks going to happen to her?” Giselle muttered finally. “Do you think they’ll let her come back?”
“She’s powerless Giselle,” Nathan sighed. “Theres no point in letting her come back. She has no reason to be here.”
Giselle stopped in her tracks, only to turn to her friends angrily. “But she’s our friend. Are we supposed to just watch this happen? Can we ever see her again?”
Jasmine shrugged. “We don’t know, this never happened before.”
A loud growl erupted then from Nathans stomach, which caused him to smile awkwardly. “Guys I’d love to talk about this forever but I’m low on fuel.”
“Figures.” Giselle smirked. “You’re a man, all you guys think about is food.”
“Hey!” Nathan yelled. “We think about other stuff too.”
“Like football?”
“Don’t forget basketball.” Jasmine added.
“Yeah, and basketball.”
He chose then to wink at Jasmine. “Lets not forget fore play.”
Giselles stomach quickly did a turn. She chose then to walk ahead so she wouldn’t have to be disgusted yet again by a Jasmine plus Nathan moment. She wondered for a second if they were okay with breaking the rules. Reality was that if they got caught or anyone found out, they’d definitely get kicked out of school.
Totally not worth the risk.
It was awkward, knowing that they would break the rules. Obviously it was a stupid risk. Jasmine was the daughter of someone rather important. Nathan, well he was a guy so he would probably get away with it. But if they ever did get caught, it wouldn’t be good.
